Lillith's Archive

Fan For Life 2.0: Tattoo Archive is live!

Do you have Metroid ink? Would you like to show it off? Now’s your chance! Our Fan For Life feature is our way of immortalizing those Metroid fans that have gone to the extreme to show their love for the series, ultimately dedicating a piece of their skin as a shrine to The Hunter herself and becoming just that- a fan for life. This feature page goes hand-in-hand with our Tattoo Tuesday series that runs on our Instagram and Facebook, and is periodically updated as new posts are added to those social media hubs. If you’d like to be a part of this collection, feel free to either DM us on either Instagram or Facebook, or email me directly at [email protected]!  Happy hunting, I look forward to seeing everyone’s tattoos! ^_^

(My very first tat, circa 2013. Spent 2.5 hours in the chair.)

Metroid: Samus Returns Wins Handheld Game of the Year at 21st Annual D.I.C.E. Awards

Metroid: Samus Returns does it again! Samus took home the gold  at the D.I.C.E. awards this year, taking the title of “Handheld Game of the Year”, making MercurySteam the first Spanish development studio to win such award. Mercury Steam took to twitter to announce their win and to thank fans for the support. This is another big win in list of many for MercurySteam, as Metroid: Samus Returns has received many accolades since its release.

Metroid: Samus Returns was nominated alongside Monster Hunter Stories (3ds Capcom), Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (3ds Nintendo), Etrian Odyssey V (3ds, ATLUS), and Dragon Quest VIII (3ds Square Enix/Nintendo).

Congratulations to MercurySteam on their big win!

Hi! Lillith here with an exciting new post about Metroid fan music. Now I’m sure most of you have heard of Stemage. But for those who haven’t, you’re in for a real treat. Started in 2003 by a man named Grant Henry, Metroid Metal “is a place to celebrate the mysterious and hypnotic melodies from Nintendo’s classic game series”. Check them out and give ’em some love at ! I’ll start you off with one of my personal faves. In honor of Metroid: Samus Returns, here’s Stemage’s “The Tunnel”!
