But if this post gets deleted, how will we ever keep an overly unnecessary record of the history of the board that will undoubtedly take up far too much space and ultimately lead to our demise? Or make blueberry muffins, I can't remember how it works anymore.

I'm not so sure it's a good idea to let just anyone delete their own posts. I doubt we'll ever have any problems, but I'd disable that feature as a matter of principle, personally.
