You HAVE to make a geemer in brinstar, your art talent is unbelieveable. (Make Brinstar blue if you do do it.)
Heh funny that you say that. I was thinking of doing that next actually. A personal challenge for me when drawing metroid art is making believable back grounds. The environments in metroid are usually all enclosed corridors yet they feel incredibly spacious. Another challenge that presents itself is lighting. Most environments are under ground where there is no light source. Take brinstar blue for example. It is very lowly lit in super metroid but there is no light source. Samus must have some sort of auto adjusting night vision lol

I imagined that the light source comes from the plants, but who's to say.

It's a flying Santa whale.
YES.
Is that a humpback whale, or just a generic whale that isn't a specfic species?

Just a generic whale, I didn't focus too much on the species and focused on the coloring.

I've been at work and I've finally decided to post art here. What I personally consider my best piece. The one thing I found odd was the hair. What do you guys think? Sorry for making it so big....I dunno how to make it smaller though (by zooming out?)

The eyes are a little too close together, but it's a great draw.

Applause for fox mulder's Lara Croft. I will agree the eyes are a bit off, but hey the eyes and hands are the hardest parts for me to draw so dont feel bad, its better than most of my art

Hands are my biggest problem. I don't really have problem drawing the eyes, but placing them is a different story.

At least from the perspective of the Space Pirates.

@Azure You're more than welcome! I am sorry I couldn't be a better artist...
