Did a collaboration with my friend Twiggy yesterday while making my badge for NDK. I did the art and the inking, she colored and laminated him. :3



My character, Kenan Ferros (KAY-nen FAIR-ohs), the same snarly green dude in my avatar. Twiggy used her magic with Copic markers to color him and I am so totally geeked.

I immediately made the connection between Kenan and your animated avatar but the blue as opposed to green skin is throwing me off. That and I never questioned that it's a female in your avatar.

As for the artwork itself, it looks OK. As far as detail goes, it looks pretty natural, the one that catches my eye is the hair, I really couldn't help but notice how it's colored. I don't know how to explain it but it looks very right.

Haha, thanks. The color of his skin is off because of the choice of markers available. Twiggy went with what she had and I was cool with it. :3 I usually describe it as "mint green".

Why did you never question that it was a female? Because I'm a girl? :3 Because the person's a guy. Character of mine.

So I've opened myself up for commission work on another site, as well as art trades, which I find absolutely fun. And I accepted a trade with this one gal that I've adored her art for a while.. and she picked my dark elf, Penthus, and I drew her and her close friend's pony characters Eerie and Perth. I'm so geeked about her art of Penthus that I have to share it here.



She actually drew him in his fox mask. I absolutely love his impish grin, because she captured it so well. It's very him.

Just thought I should drop some drawings I made for a comic involving fantasy stuff and power armors I've been working on since last year, and still going.

A shot I wanted to make. On the left side is Piotr, the youngest character as he is 16 years old. I wanted him to be a deconstruction of the typical shonen character, and one of the biggest trait I made to him was having him anger problems. Big ones, which can hurt both his ennemies and friends/innocent. He wants to get rid of his armor so he would stop hurting them, but his sense of justice is too big for that. The protagonist of the second part, Juste. I wanted him to be young and being on a quest for his identity (No, he doesn't have amnesia. He's a tennager.)

Well, I guess I'll go "outside the box" here and post a couple of drawings of my own. I hold an associate's degree in Interior Design and these are pictures of an office study that I designed. The first is hand-drawn line art, the second is hand rendered with marker, colored pencil, and pastel.
