You know, John Williams, the greatest film composer to date. 5 Oscar of best soundtrack! Here are some movies he made the soundtracks:
* Star Wars(his greatest masterpieces, all films/ Star Wars: Main Theme got the prize of best movie song of all times!)
* Jaws(he marked a movie with 2 notes. Magnificent!)
* Harry Potter(until Prisoner of Azkaban. Goblet of Fire wasn't his)
* E.T.
* Indiana Jones
* All of Steven Spielberg's films, except The Color Purple
* Home Alone
For anyone else who think the tracks from him are excellent, post here!
EDIT: I forgot about Superman...

I really love his music. Probably his most fun piece to play is "The Cowboys." Lots of 16th notes, and some fun patterns in there.
It's just my opinion.
Does anyone have the old metroidgalaxy avatars, specifically the red and silver Samus symbol?

Yeah, of course he's awesome. Listen to his music all the time on my laptop. Even in my car. Occasionally get looks from friends that start up my CD player without asking what I've got. Mind you, I do have some "regular" music, but I roll with mostly techno, instrumental, and various video game tracks in my car. Yeah, yeah, I'm a freak.
"OK, look at it this way: Worst case scenario, it'll only cost you your life, and you got that for free."

Hey, I have the entire Metroid series soundtrack on my ipod, including the title screen from each one with samus superimposed on whatever passes as ground.
It's just my opinion.

Hell yea, I've got some John Williams music. I'm also a movie music score fan. James Horner and Jerry Goldsmith are some of my favs. This year I was able to get my hands on the score for 'John Carpenter's The Thing', which I long sought after. Got a few 70s-80s scifi scores. Love the Conan soundtracks, blaa blaa blaa.
btw Darth: not to split hairs, but John Williams didn't do the soundtrack for Goonies, that was Dave Grusin. But maybe you're not considering that a Speilberg film because Richard Donner directed it and Steven produced it.

Yeah, it doesn't much count as a director's film if he just produced it.

When I say a movie is somebody's, I mean that person was the director.Star Wars was George Lucas', and Indiana Jones, even though George produced it, was Steven Spielberg's.
There, edited, and I hope everyone understand it now

Spielberg directed Raiders of the Lost Ark, Lucas produced it.

That's the danger in using vague pronouns. I thought you were saying Spielberg produced Indiana Jones.

I knew what you meant Naner, I wasn't trying to bust balls.
But on that note, doesn't everyone hate when you take the time to make a meaty post and in a hurry you may have left something vague or misleading. Then someone replys, but instead of commenting on your post all they do is bust your balls on some stupid detail you left out or said wrong.
HAHA, ohh messageboards....

That was what the post was about and that was the meaning of the question mark.
