Re: Weird dreams anyone?I had a Metroid dream two nights ago.
It involved playing a brand-new Metroid game released without any previous notice. It simply showed up. I think the name was Metroid: Revelations (I went to sleep thinking about Assassin's Creed) and it had the same art style as Other M, but with much better graphics. I remember my dream-self thinking "this is the game that will redeem the series." I don't remember anything about the gameplay itself (nor about the controller I was using), but I do remember two distinct things: Dark Samus and interplanetary travel. I also seem to remember some pretty explosions. |

Re: Weird dreams anyone?Yes, it did resemble Corruption in some aspects, but it was third-person and with Other M's art style. The graphics seemed Wii U material, I think.

Re: Weird dreams anyone?Hmmmmmm...... so did you name the dream yet? Cuz all metroid related things must have s special subtitle that differentiates them from other stuff similar to it

Re: Weird dreams anyone?I vote for Metroid Prime 3rd person Corruption.

Re: Weird dreams anyone?Well, I had the dream shortly after buying Assassin's Creed Revelations (that was literally the last thing I did before going to bed) and that probably arranged the game in the dream to be called Metroid: Revelations. So you could call the dream that, if you want to.
It wasn't that similar to Corruption. I remember the planets being different (and more), and Dark Samus' appearance was more of a cameo. Also, if Nintendo announces anything similar to that next year... You heard it first from me. ![]() |

Re: Weird dreams anyone?I woke up last night and could have sworn there were the monsters from Amnesia in my flat!!
As if that weren't bad enough, my flatmate was up and moving about, so she scared the hell out of me!!!! ![]() I'm the guy that's gonna kill Satan. |

Re: Weird dreams anyone?I had a dream where Pluto was going to collide with the Earth. They broadcasted the news on tv, and everyone was panicking. Even though I haven't seen the movie, I bet the dream was influenced by the plot of "Melancholia." And I bet Pluto finally wanted it's revenge for not being counted as a planet anymore.

Re: Weird dreams anyone?Last night I dreamt that I was at a party. I went outside to my car, but I couldn't find it. I used the panic button on my keybob and this truck's lights started flashing. I've never had any interest in owning a truck, so that was kinda odd. I even commented, in my dream, how strange this dream is. I've never verbally acknowledged a dream within a dream before.
Now that I think about it, I think I've visited that same house in a previous dream. Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.

Re: Weird dreams anyone?Well, I've just created slightly more evidence of precognition... it isn't much but, here it is:
I had a dream last night involving magic, stealing orbs from a cranky wizard in a business suit, and being on a team of constantly changing pop culture characters (I think that I had Doctor Who with me in a warehouse before staging a raid on a museum-type place with Piccolo So today, in not one, but two classes, I see a deck of playing cards Edit: Wow, another dream already? In this one, I had one dream, then another, then fell asleep in that dream, entered another dream, woke up, found out I was still in the second dream, and then woke up for real... Re: Weird dreams anyone?Oh boy, the last dream I can remember was messed up even by my standards. Maybe some of you could read into these things but whatever, here goes.
First thing I know I was chained to a radiator I think. My hands were tied behind my back and I was sitting down. It was a large bedroom which was dimly lit by light coming from the only window on the right side. Everything was just colorless. A woman stepped in. Our skin and hair were the only things that had color but the slight darkness kinda dimmed them. She had short black hair but I cannot recall ANY facial features, as though she had no face. What followed was me getting a beating from her; both physically and verbally. Being tied, I couldn't defend myself so it went on. Every time I spoke I got a kick to the mouth so I soon gave up. Next thing I know I was on the bed that was right beside me the whole time. She was there on top of me and I was scared but I was too broken and dead inside to move, let alone fight or flight. Then I woke up and felt sad for a little while. Seriously, WTF. I had a dream before this where I died eight times, often in messy, gory ways and I woke up thinking it was awesome (posted that here already but in fragments) In times of crisis, weakness cannot survive. But be very careful how you define strength.

Re: Weird dreams anyone?I could seriously fill this thread with the shit I dream. Especially with the pills I'm on. I have had some really epic dreams in the past. I try to write them down while they're fresh so I don't forget them.
The other night, though, I dreamed that my father in law was harassing me to euthanize my hubby's parrot. Kept saying the bird was old and in pain. I kept trying to tell him that he should take it up with Joe, and if I did anything to that bird, he'd hate me forever. That, and the bird was only like.. 25 years old and still had another 30 expected. He kept bugging me about it and insisted the bird was elderly. Then I was suddenly somewhere else with my grandparents. Something about a house showing. But I kept having issues with my shoes and there was something weird about the place. |
