Ha ha ok.

It's pretty much gore for gore's sake, in my opinion.
Of course there's all this about an evil curse and differing timelines.

But really.

I've been reading Negima! lately. Pretty fun. It reminds me of Card Captor Sakura and Dr. Slump a lot, and has references to Pokémon, Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest and some other Japanese stuff :D.

I don't watch much anime, (I watch none, actually) but I want to know if anybody here has seen and enjoyed the "Tales of Symphonia" OAV.

I loved that massive, detailed, story-and-atmosphere-rich two disk GCN adventure.
I hear the second half of the OAV is being released this Spring, but I haven't seen the first half, so I'd like to know if its worth my time.
When somebody tells me he doesn't believe in violence, I punch him in the face to inform him of its existence.

I've seen a little bit of it, and it was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's a waste of time.

I'm sure few of you have heard of them, but my favorites include

Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Azumanga Daioh, CLANNAD, Kanon (2006), Fullmetal Alchemist, To Aru Majutsu no Index, and To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun, respectively.)

Full list, for those that care. (nobody)

I would describe all of them, but I'm terrible at describing things in an interesting way and I'm also lazy.

I've also just started watching Hanamaru Kindergarten, which is the most adorable thing to ever exist.

Dr. Slump makes sane minds go

WHAT THE @@#% ##@$ $#^%# *^$@% ?

But it makes people like me happy. Fullmetal Alchemist is my undisputed favorite Manga and Anime, but I like the Manga better.
PYRO'S BACK, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, upon my return, I have a few demands of the administrators. I want my rank changed to Barbie.
Actually, that's my only demand.

I just watched the final two episodes of Cowboy Bebop today and was like: NO! NO NO NO YOU DO NOT DO THAT!!! OH, HELL NO! I waited all that time to find out about Julia and Spike and Viscious just for THIS? NO!

Which is why I should totally not watch anime. Ever.

But if you've seen Bebop you understand.

And thank god for BONES studios for making Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood!

@xxBlueLoverxx: If you shouted 'NO' the ending to Cowboy Bebop, then you'll really shout 'NO' at the ending to Wolves' Rain.

I however loved both series and their endings despite how they both ended. :3
If anyone has any good recommendations of some-what serous/ funny anime then I'd like to know.
I just stared watching FMA-Brotherhood but I'd like to watch another series too.

I really need to finish watching Trigun, and Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig.
I also watched, a few days ago, the Gunsmith Cats anime, which is pretty much just an anime movie chopped into three episodes, it was pretty entertaining though, I really wanna get the Manga.

Amen on Brotherhood.

That's one damn good show; f- the haters.

My bro is watching the Japanese version, so of course he's a bunch of episodes ahead of me (and I've missed the last three, dammit), but it's still really entertaining.

When I was a little kid there was a Wizard of Oz tv show that was on the air. However it didn't stop where the old 1939 film did, it keept going on for 52 episodes and covered the material of three more books. Well, I just recently found out that the whole thing was actually an anime that had been translated into english. It was well written and much, much more faithful to the source material than any other version of the stroy I have seen, especially the 1939 film.

Also; Basilisk. Now that was an awesome show. It's like Remeo and Juliet, but with ninjas. It's also about ten times as tragic as R&J. It's right up there with Cowboy Bebop as one of the best animes ever.
Everyone dies. It is the final and only lasting Justice - Boba Fett

Actually WR was the first anime I ever watched. Watched it all on youtube and cried like a baby.

And the other series is good but I'm an accuracy nazi XD

I'm currently reading MSLN Vivid and MSLN the Movie 1st mangas. I'm liking them both so far. They're still publishing them, so I have to wait a month or so for the next chapter for each.
