I don't have the internet capacity for it Clarify. If you can handle streaming video you should have no problem downloading ~200mbs of data, unless your bandwidth is capped by your ISP.
I have Hughes Net and we have a daily bandwidth limit. after midnight to 5 am it doesnt matter how huge a file i download it wont count...but Hughes Net is so crappy...nothing ever works. Youtube has problems sometimes! But anyway..i just don't download a lot because I don't know what's safe or if i have to make an account and blah blah... I'm paranoid

Very reasonable concerns. I've never heard of your ISP before. That's a new one. Bandwidth limits of any sort are terrible but depending on specifics you should be able to squeak by with the occasional ~200mb download. No reasonably encoded 720p video file should be much larger than ~300mbs tops, unless you're going for BluRay rips in which case the sizes can get insane.
As for where to go? I frequent The Pirate Bay for any non-anime related show. I've yet to contract any manner of virus or whatnot from the site, but good antivirus software never hurt. No account necessary, simple to navigate. The adds could be generally considered "Not Safe for Work" though, so perhaps browse it in private. For anime I either get my shows straight from the groups subbing them, NyaaTorrents, a public anime specific torrent tracker (like The Pirate Bay of anime), or BakaBT, a private tracker you need to sign up for. I wouldn't recommend BakaBT with your present limitations. You're required to maintain a certain upload ratio through BitTorrent which effectively means you'd be eating up twice the bandwidth per file. Legend of Korra, not being an anime, is best found on The Pirate Bay.
You would also, of course, need a BitTorrent client to take advantage of any of the above mentioned sites. uTorrent is small, free, safe and easy to use. So long as you're not behind a particularly obtrusive firewall it should require little, if at all any, configuration. Optimizing uTorrent can be a bit of work, nut if you're only planning on using it infrequently it shouldn't be necessary.
If you've relied solely on streaming your shows you may need to set up a proper player before downloading anything. I'd recommend VLC Media Player. I use it for everything and it can play nearly anything "out of the box" so to speak. I'd also suggest you pick up the Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP) so as to assure optimal playback and compatibility with any type of video file you may come across. Beyond that it's all a matter of what your computer can handle. Many older machines can't handle 10bit video encodes, which have more or less become standard, though I doubt Korra is encoded in 10bit.
That's all a lot to go through just to watch a single show. It's all a matter of importance. I watch a great deal of anime and other shows and prefer to do so in high quality, thus necessitating such minimal complexity. If it's all to much hassle, I guess your stuck with searching for another steam, or catching it on Saturdays.

That's good advice. I use The Pirate Bay for many things as well, and yeah, you should install AdBlock on your browser before going there. Thanks for the Nyaa tip. I was looking for a good place to search for anime torrents.

Don't forget to look at the comments on the torrent as well. Not only will it help you determine if its legit or not, but they will usually tell you what's in the torrent if the description doesn't already (for example, if its a sub or dub). I usually try to avoid torrents that have no comments or no likes. But you shouldn't worry too much. After hanging around Piratebay and ISOhunt for anime I have never encountered a problem. VLC Media Player is good, but I think Media Player Classic ( not to be confused with Windows Media Player) is slightly better. Pretty much the best media player for windows IMO. But no matter, either with VLC or MPC, you will be able to play pretty much any relevant video file.

Just finished FMA Brotherhood with my gf tonight. We watched the last 4 episodes in a row. This show had one of the most satisfying endings of any anime I've ever seen in my entire life. So much closure, so much hope for the future!!!! Gah, it was amazing. FMA just shot way up on my favorites. Absolutely fantastic show. The characters, pacing, animation, storyline, everything was just incredible. Can't say enough good things about FMA:B.

I'm having a, "My God, I need some manga to read," fit currently and I've bookmarked a few to get started:
One Piece (chapter 72 I think) Bakuman (Resuming, have to find what chapter I was at) Death Note (finishing past vol. 7, getting out of hiatus) Pokemon Special (just starting) Akira (just starting, can't wait) Soul Eater (a friend's reccomendation, same as One Piece) Gin Tama (read a few chapters in Jump, really enjoyed it) Gyakuten Saiban (hopeless fanboy)
I've only read (and watched) to completion Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood, obviously). Hohenheim was my favorite, so I was annoyed about how that turned out, but you still have Roy and Riza, so that's certainly something.

Finished Bokurano. I liked it.
Now starting Gurren Lagaan and Durarara! Though I've only just started these two, I like them so far.

Today I gave a speech in my Speech class on the topic of Anime and Manga and how they have influenced America and the people in America. I think it went pretty well.

Thanks, I got a 89% on the speech. My instructor said that I sounded too serious . Like in episode 18 of FMAB when Havoc says "Don't worry, we have the Hawk's Eye watching over us." Are you a member on Risembool Rangers? It's a Vic Mignogna fansite that he started, but it feels more like a FMA and other animes he's in fansite.

My girlfriend and I have been watching, Kids on the Slope. It's slice-of-life type show dealing with these jazz musicians. I wasn't interested in it at first, but it's grown on me.
Toonami's comeback has been a great source of my anime-viewing. Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins have been added to the line-up. Both are enjoyable for different reasons and have plenty dark overtones. Good for a quick weekly anime-fix if you have the time to watch it live or record it for later.

Well Deadman is so batshit goofy and insane that it's hard not to laugh at what's going on.
And Casshern is done by Madhouse. Even when they don't do a good show, it's at the very least entertaining and fun to watch.

Thanks to Super Robot Wars J(udgment) I have begun watching quite a few mecha animes. Starting off with: Blue Comet SPT Layzner: In this anime, the Cold War never ended, and after developing rockets and mastering space technology, they colonize Mars but are still at war for control over it. But then this new army known as the Gradosians come in and attack Earth. So they main protagonists are at war with Grados forces to save Earth.
Martian Successor Nadesico: In this anime, an alien species called Jovian Lizards attack and take over Mars and continue to attack Earth. As a result to combat the Jovian Lizards, they send out a giant fortress called the Nadesico to combat the aliens. So far this anime is fricking funny as all hell, as well as badass with it's mecha battles. Plus Spike Spencer voices the main protagonist so you can't go wrong.
Full Metal Panic!: Do I really need to explain Full Metal Panic!? All that is need to be said is Bonta-Kun. End of story.
and last but not least
Robotech: I know that it's a butchered version of Macross, but goddammit I grew up with this show. I just have to watch it for nostalgia.(Note not part of SRWJ)
Upcomming after I finish all those is: Tekkaman Blade, and I can't wait to start that one.
