I've been 30 for six whole months, now, though I don't feel like it. (How is 30 supposed to feel, anyway?) Apparently I don't quite look it either. I almost got carded at Wal-mart recently; the cashier told me, "If it wasn't for the beard ..."

I checked my Brain Age a week ago and it's at 29. I usually feel younger than that, though. I mean, I'm not all spry and energetic or anything, I just don't feel like I'm old.


It's all a state of mind. The good thing about that is that you have control over it. You can't stop getting older, but you can choose to feel younger.

I'm turning 29 next week, and one of the people at work placed me at 39....I was like...WTF is this. Wasn't a great way to start my day. I shoulda guessed her age, she's borderline geriatric as is

You were born the same year I was, then. Except I won't be turning 29 until the very end of December.

I'm pushing thirty and I don't feel a day older than 25. I wonder if I'll ever actually feel my age, so I get you.

I don't feel a day older then 21, until I decide to get up and do something. I'm starting to get out of breath and all sorts, i haven't been taking the best care of myself this past year, and with a little one on the way, I better get in shape before they put me in shape

I'm sure if the mod participating in the conversation one post above yours felt it was out of hand, they'd take action. So if the mods aren't saying anything you can relax, everything will be okay.

I don't think this detracts to much from the original conversation. It started from a photo that made one look older/younger than they were that split into a discussion near the same topic. No need for concern and it keeps it from starting a thread that would be a few pages and then de-evolve into mindless chatter anyway.

It went the way of the dinosaurs...for now. I'm still deciding if I want to grow it back out or keep it the way it is.

So, I have a new hat and I have redyed my hair. This picture makes it look really brown, but it's actually a purplish red.
