Glad you had a good time! I went stag to my first Military Ball and I still had a lot of fun and I danced with a few guys.

Thanks everyone ^_^; While my wife wouldn't let me name her Samus or Aran (at least with the A spelling), I did get away with the middle name Lana which to normal Metroid fans is meaningless but in my fanfiction world, Lana Aran is Samus' daughter who picks up the bounty mantle to take over for her then deceased mother to take revenge on Ridley for finally killing her in her old age. Lana has been the staple of my Metroid fanfiction trilogy and I wanted to have something, anything that would help remind me of my love for Metroid and my creative prowess, and Lana does that for me

Where can I read that fanfic? Is it for the public?
My Lana Aran series is a little dated but you can find the first novel of the trilogy "Rebirth of a Legend" here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1274672/1/Rebirth_of_a_Legendand the sequel, "Conflict From Within" here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1613680/1/Conflict_From_WithinI have had plans for the third part for quite some time but my creativity has taken a major dive over the past few years and I've been stuck with writer's block on everything. I do plan on finishing my Lana Aran Trilogy though. I think of the two so far, Conflict From Within is my favorite (probably out of all of my stories really). You can also find any of my other various metroid re-writes and collections on my fanfiction.net profile ( http://www.fanfiction.net/~sharonlover) ^_^

Is "Rebirth of a Legend" supposed to only be one page long? That's all I was able to see. Hmm...
