What Would You Do? (TV show)

Postby -ChozoChild- » 05.10.10 12:39am

What if you were walking through a park and you saw a someone trying to steal a bike?
Or a young woman who just turned 21 is drunk at a bar and a man who she doesn't know is trying to rape her--?
What would you do?
Would you think you had an obligation to intervene? What do you think others would do?

If you have never seen this show before, What Would You Do? is a Hidden Camera Experiment that involves actors and actress playing the parts of the 'victim and attacker' in these often real situations, and the viewers are real people who think this event is actuality happening. The scenarios are often based on news events and sometimes even have real peolpe that have been effective by that event. This show isn't only entertaining but it helps us understand our surroundings, our culture and our thoughts and ideals as we go through hard and often tricky situations.

I just watched the latest episode on Hulu and I'd like you guys to watch it and maybe get some feed back from it.

I'm surprised more people don't carry firearms. An armed citizen is a safer citizen, and an armed society is a safer society.

I bet less rapes and robberies would occur if criminals expect potential victims were armed. Sadly, many people are victims of the "guns are evil" mindset, so they avoid obtaining a weapon of their own, regardless of the risks involved with remaining unarmed. :(

A gun is also a valuable tool to protect others from an attacker. Some attackers will even flee upon seeing a gun, allowing a gun-owner to save lives without firing a single round.
When somebody tells me he doesn't believe in violence, I punch him in the face to inform him of its existence.

Thank you for putting my mind at ease, you are indeed a troll. I no longer have to read any of your posts.

I came in here expecting discussion about Nickelodeon's early 90s show of the same name hosted by Marc Summers.

I am disappoint.

I'm not a troll. I'm just against gun-control laws.

Idiots in the US government (Primarily democrats) feel the need to turn our right to bear arms into a privilege, regardless of the consequences.
