Welll, when I first sign up for MDb, I couldn't think of a username.
Since I'm a Vocaloid (Miku Hatsune, Rin and Len Kagamine, Kaito, Luka, Meiko, etc.) fan, I could've have my username be Vocaloid Fangirl or VocaloidLives4ever....but unfortunately, my mind was mixed up and Vocaloid hasn't come up in my mind...

But, I have just finished listening to some random Trance/Nightcore music on that day and so I wanna named myself something catchy like a name of a DJ...

So therefore, DJ Trancetronica (Trance and Electronica clumped together) was created.

I came up with the name Dark Hamsterlord when I was like, 12. I don't really like it much anymore, but I've become so used to it, I use it without thinking when I sign up for a website.

I was a big fan of hamsters (hamsters are still pretty cool, but I think I probably like dogs more now.) and I went by Hamsterboy. Not long after I started that, a friend of mine used a program called BYOND to make an amateur online RPG. The setting was medieval, and I felt that Hamsterlord was a more fitting name for my character, later on I changed my class to dark knight, and decided to stick Dark at the beginning of Hamsterlord. The name stuck.

I chose Doc Scratch simply because one of my favorite webcomics has a minor character named Doc Scratch in it. He's the guy in my avatar, and the only reason I really chose him was because A.) He has an interesting visual design, and B.) His white text gives me a gimmick.

Oh man, I somehow never noticed your text was a slightly different color than all the other text on the forum. I read Homestuck, too, so you'd think I would be more likely to pick up on that.
