Scott Pilgrim was amazing in theaters.

I watched (500) Days of Summer yesterday. I'm not usually a romantic comedy kind of guy, but it was actually really good. Plus it has Zooey Deschanel.

I think "outstandingly amazing" would be better suited, but, to each his own.

At least from the perspective of the Space Pirates.

The reason to watch any movie.

I was this || close to seeing it in the theater, but dammit, life always finds a way to get in the way.

Movies I've seen recently:
Let's see... Currently watching: Star Trek: The Motion Picture on the CW.
Watched in the last couple of days:
Mystery Team - Fucking hilarious movie. Couldn't figure out what exactly was so funny about it until the very end when I realized that it was basically a real-life version of The Venture Brothers without all the mad scientists and spies and clones. Speaking of mad scientists, I also watched:
The Human Centipede: The First Sequence - As messed up as this movie was, I was still left wanting to see the purported sequel. It's really not a bad movie... just not one that you would recommend to your parents.

I saw Inception, for the third time, in theaters.

And yeah Black Dynamite is hilarious.
Who would expect Metroid: Other M to borrow concepts from Super Princess Peach?

Not being able to watch (most) R-rated movies sucks! That movie looks awesome! :'(

Well I am currently watching the 1979 movie "Stalker", based loosely off the book "Roadside Picnic". Movie is LONG. I'm about 50 minutes in, and in all it's 2 hours and 34 minutes. It's interesting so far though.

EDIT: Just finished it. Wow. Pretty slow, but it's interesting. Don't think I'd watch it again though.

watched Scott Pilgrim two nights ago and I have Inception on my list as well as How to Train Your Dragon.

I've seen all but Inception before and well worth another watch :)

Last night I watched Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Skills Like This, and Astro Boy.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is one of those instantly likable movies that you could just watch over and over and over. And I personally believe that its visual style should be used in nearly all comic book movies. I also believe that it would have been one of the very few movies to look legitimately good in that native 3D that they used in Avatar.

I loved it, one of my favorite movies of 2010, along with Inception, TS3, and How To Train Your Dragon (still can't get over the fact that Dreamworks made a great animated film).
I loved Scott Pilgrim, but couldn't stand how they left the funniest parts out, or parts that made characters more interesting, like Envy turning out in the end, not to be a totally evil bitvh (accidental censors FTW). But, I understand because they crammed all 6 books into one film.
