I'll start off: Blues Brothers 2000. This might be because I'm a HUGE BB fan, but I came into the movie thinking it was going to be completely horrible and actually found there were a lot of good spots in it. Of course, it's got some crappy points too (there is absolutely NOT timing for the cop crash sequence; Ellwood commits a federal crime by kidnapping the child and taking him across state lines) but these are balanced out IMO by scenes like the Baptists and Ghost Riders. Anyway, I still don't think it's a good movie, but I kinda like it

VGM (Particularly Remixed VGM [Read:OverClockedRemix.org]) and Anime (In general). Certainly not everyone hates them but most of the people I know are turned off to'em. "VGM isn't real music!" and "Anime is crazy Jap kiddy cartoons!" are, paraphrased, the usual arguments I get.


I pride myself on not giving a damn what other people think, principally in regards to what it is I find enjoyable, but I can't help but find intolerance and ignorance unbearable. You don't have to agree with what it is I like, but at least have a decent REASON for DISliking it.

Also Twilight, in that I liked it when I first read it (yeah yeah I was 14. Also I know a lot of people who now vehemently hate it, who used to think Edward Cullen was the best/hottest thing ever. And now deny it )

He's so awesome in interviews. Talking about how Twilight is just Stephanie Meyer's sick fantasy and that she totally creeps him out when she's on set.
Also he's funny. Also he's totally awesome as Cedric.

I enjoyed both Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Other M.

Same here. They weren't the best things ever, but I enjoyed them a lot more than some did.

Also, Avatar, not the cartoon, the movie. I know lots of people love it, but lots of people hate it too. I'm one of the people who loves it.

Well I'm a guy and I like the Twilight series MOVIES. I sure as hell did not read the books because I hate reading books but I've seen all 3 movies that have come out. So yeah,

Nope, Twilight is going to go on my list in the other thread Never seen it, nor do I want to. Gives vampires a bad name! Same goes for Titanic (I was LONG studying the Titanic before the James Cameron film came out, and after that, I stopped caring because suddenly everybody thought it was awesome).

Pretty big split. I'd consider 3 and below to be bad scores in this case, so you're basically looking at a 60/40 split. I wouldn't call that 'the majority hates this game'. In any event, about twice as many people gave it a 5 as gave it a 1

VGM (Particularly Remixed VGM [Read:OverClockedRemix.org])

OCR is kind of lame, yeah. They have American music style, and it's often influenced by hip-hop and R&B, which I hate. I'd recommend you check out the winners on [quote=http://dod.redheadedblacksheep.net/]Dwelling of Duels[/quote]. I've also got a list of primarily awesome vgm on my blog. You can also check out orchestral arranges of stuff (Symphonic Shades and Distant Worlds are two excellent ones). But if you don't like good VGM or rock or orchestral arranges then...I guess I can't help you
