Since I've gotten a Kindle, I've been downloading some fanfic from FIMFiction. There's some really great stuff if you look around. I'm currently reading Anthropology, a story about the human-obsessed pony, Lyra. Really fun and definitely recommended!

And, by the way, you're all wrong. Twilight Sparkle is, unquestionably, best pony. But I love all of them.

I'd highly recommend Background Pony, which is currently one of my favorite works of modern literature (and that statement is not to be taken lightly). I'm even using the arc words from the fic as my signature, replacing the arc words from Doctor Who that used to hold that spot.

Edit: I'd like to amend my first statement slightly so it's less of a hyperbole: by "modern", I mean written in the past 50 or so years, not written in the entire modern era (past 200 years). That hyperbole would be too big even for me .

I recommend this one, called Eternal. Basically about Celestia trying to reconnect with Twilight after they stop talking for many years. It's a very long read but it's definitely worth it.

Not much longer than Anthropology. I'll add that one to my Kindle as well. I'm 64% through Anthropology, though, so it might be a while before I read it. I'm not gonna read Background Pony yet because it's incomplete, but it sounds really interesting.

My Little Dashie, Sunny Skies All Day Long and Pinkie Watches Paint Dry are other (shorter) fics I recommend.

I used to read tons of fan fiction but my laptop broke so I don't have much time to read it anymore. It's really too bad, I was starting to enjoy them a lot. Anyone else read Naked Singularity? That's one's hilarious!
