Of course. That's why I used quotes. But the funniest part of all that, for me, was that [spoiler]Pinkie Pie thought Dash was serious, and left Twilight and Fluttershy in doubt.[/spoiler]

Well, I watched the first two episodes again in 1080p in YouTube yesterday. It worked fine. In any case, I have the whole first season in 480p in my hard drive, so...

Hm, I'm halfway through the season and this is what I have to say about it

After seeing the Winter Wrap-Up episode, I got excited thinking "Yes! They get it!". Like I said in the previous post, I'm curious to see to which heights they're going to take this, the crises that await them. A friend of mine who brought the subject up talked about it for a bit. I asked her what the worst problems the ponies faced. She mentioned the infestation episode and the snoring dragon. Having passed those episodes by, I couldn't help but feel disappointed.

Some episodes like the Cutie Mark and Slumber Party ones were hard to watch. Had to skip over them. For a show that attracted so many grown male fans, I expected more.

The way problems are sometimes solved make me facepalm. I think it happened twice in Episode 2. Kinda surprised I didn't stop there. Sometimes I think "bah, you're really getting so worked up over that?". The episodes I skipped over are good examples.

The ones I really enjoyed were namely the one where the Zebra is first introduced, the Swarm and Apple Jack working herself half to death. (I thought it would've been awesome had she had a seizure instead of just fainted. That can totally happen. Too graphic I guess.)
