My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Thread

Just an add-on thread, as MLP:FiM thread is about the show itself. Anyways, Just basically give me 3 of your favorite ponies in order. and give a quick example of why you like them. I'll start.

1. Twilight Sparkle - She's the main Character, Shes neat, and very helpful
2. Fluttershy - Adorable, Kind, Funny. Need I say more?
3. Rainbow Dash - Sonic Rainbooms are just amazing.

The thing is, I have been thinking a lot about people functioning as a well-connected group, much like individual neurons in the brain. Communication is key and if done right, the result is better than the sum of the individual parts. It's been on my mind a lot and it's even the basis of a story I'm working on... Which wouldn't be kid-friendly to say the least. Let's just say I'm trying to think of interesting ways to croak in outer space. Like getting the ejection and thrusters on your spacecraft to malfunction. Without air to slow it down or a way to escape, you're veering into the void in what may as well be your koffin, like being buried alive. It's a pretty sad way to go.

In short: I see MUCH potential in the premise of combining skills and putting different experiences together. It's a theme I have lot of interest in. MLP doesn't seem to be pushing it far enough.

Look, Remnants, I can understand you're problem, but this is still just a children's show. The developers don't want to make complicated stories which small children can't understand. If you watch it for character development, you're going to be dissapointed. Personally I watch it for the awesome moments and random hilarity. I suggest looking at some pony related memes to up the viewing experience. Plus if you have a bunch of friends who watch it too, it can be a lot of fun.

24 days till i can become happy again...

I went through this show in 5 stages: Denial, Fear, Reasoning, Okay feeling, Acceptance.

What exactly changed my mind about the show? probably me watching every single episode and realizing it brought back the good memories of old cartoons on a Saturday morning: Likeable characters and good animation, oh and voice work!

thats basically exactly what happened to me except I gave in when I saw how big the fanbase was and seeing pony related memes

Oh, ok, maybe I should check on this more frequently, I am being stupiod (how many NCS references can I make?), thanks, I thought he was talking to me. Oh well, anyways I calculated the entire first season to be 9 1/2 hours long (9.5333333... hours long to be if every episode was exactly 22 minutes long).
