Eww, Internet Explorer. This is one of my many, many backgrounds. Ironically, I do have an icon for Internet Explorer, because I have one for each major browser. And I like my icons big and pretty. I don't have many icons in my desktop because I rather press Windows and type the name of something instead of looking for it in a crowded screen. The ones fixed to the taskbar are those that are running most of the time. The image is loading very, very slowly for me. If anyone has problems, just tell me and I'll upload a lighter version.

Yeah, making that image took quite a bit of effort. First, I had to do some math to figure out the amount and size of the images for them to fit in a 1920x1080 image. I figured out 120 is the maximum common denominator between 1920 and 1080, so I went for 120x120. Then I found out that, despite Queen's insane amount of singles, I wouldn't be able to fill the image if everything were 120x120. So I decided to make the main studio albums, plus the compilations and live albums released before Made in Heaven 240x240. Then I had to get all the 87 images and resize them accordingly. Then I had to make them fit without leaving anything out or blank spaces.
I did, however, cheat. You'll notice Freddie's Mr. Bad Guy, Brian's Star Fleet Project and Roger's Fun in Space and Strange Frontier are there, too. However, I think it's interesting to have them to show how the members had free time in those periods in the '80s. I didn't include Barcelona or Five Live because they had Montserrat Caballé and George Michael very notably on the cover, and would contrast too much. The three Queen + Paul Rodgers ones barely showed Rodgers, though. I would've included Back to the Light, Another World, Happiness? and Electric Fire, but I was out of space by then.

BEHOLD!!!!! I have a new desktop! Sorry, Chozogal, I got tired of seeing the same (very beautiful) painting as my desktop and decided to replace it with something a lot faster!
I also sorted out my shortcuts.

Good old M3. Few cars balance speed and luxury like it does.

Ewww, Unity. Fire up a terminal and type in this: - Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install gnome-shell
Then log out and log back in choosing GNOME as your graphical interface. GNOME 3 is much better and more usable than Unity. That's a nice wallpaper, though. Kinda reminds me of Zelda.

I can see why some people would prefer GNOME 2 over 3, but you can't possibly prefer Unity over it, can you?
