Mine are at the post office waiting for me to come get them ASAP tomorrow morning, then soon begins the modding! You are right IE, it is very sad how we are treated! I wonder ho many imports of these figures were sold? I have wanted a Samus figure like this since I was eight!

I guess my biggest complaint is... Metroid has always done better in the US. Financially isn't it smarter to have merch here?

Problems with AmiAmi... They emailed cancelling my order even though 5 days ago they emailed saying I have 7 days to pay. I emailed them back explaining my situation and asked that they open the order back up. So far, no response... I'm quite upset.

You also have to consider that the market for figurines in the U.S. is way smaller than the market for figurines in Japan.

At least, I am 80% sure of that statement.

Do you not have a bank account associated with your Paypal? I never transfer money to my Paypal because if I use it to purchase something and there aren't enough funds, then Paypal just automatically takes the money from it.

That really sucks though - sorry to hear that, dude. You may be able to find it at a local import/anime shop or at an anime con. eBay would be the last resort, but those prices are going to be $$$$$$$$$$$.

I have a bank account linked to it, but I never knew you could overdraw it and it'll just take it from the bank account. That just makes it worse feeling haha.

I already bought one from eBay a few months ago for $66 with free shipping from a reputable seller (been on since 2008, 99.9% satisfaction, read feedback to make sure they were legit), my idea being "AmiAmi said some products may be unable to ship stateside. I should have a backup just in case and sell one if I get both."

Now the eBay seller hasn't responded to a message asking about the order status, which is making me nervous. Granted it's only been a day and a half.

Oh well. One way or another I will buy this. I just got a grown up job at Comcast that'll keep my bank account full all the time.

Now, as for why I didn't have the money in PayPal at the time:

They sent the email saying end of July. So once they sent that I spent about $20 of my PayPal money on one of the gifts for my girlfriends birthday.

First week of July? Your orders ready! Pay up! Had to wait for a pay check, then put the money in PayPal...

Well I am much better today. My eBay guy in Hong Kong came through, I am now in possession of my figma. I'm about to go to my second job but later I'll post pics including a kick ass one of Samus encountering Master Chief for the first time and who would emerge victorious.

Damn straight. Even if I don't I still try to find the cash for metroid items. I work hard for my money and for these items.
I don't have one of the largest collections by just asking nicely you know.
