Team Ninja and Nintendo are working on a new 3D Metroid game for the Wii. It will feature more story than any other Metroid game and full voice acting for Samus. Supposedly there is backstory in this one. I think the "Other M" is none other than Adam Malkovich.

Watching video now... Holy crap what exactly is this?

A new Metroid announced at E3 2009, developed by Team Ninja and Nintendo.

The trailer presented is as a mix of classic Metroid gameplay along with 3rd person action. Adam Malkovich from Metroid Fusion made an appearance in the trailer, along with a younger Samus, making the game presumably a prequel to the Metroid titles.

There you have it, Adam Malkovich is there.

I don't think it's completely a prequel. I could've sworn I saw a recreation of the Mother Brain fight from Super.
