Everyone has their favorite bosses, like, for example, my favorite: Ridley Everyone also has their least favorite boss. Mine: The Mystery Creature
(a.k.a. adolescent Ridley)
because of that stupid tail's erratic movement pattern. Going by this, shouldn't everyone have a favorite mini-boss, or rather, more fitting to the topic, a leat favorite mini-boss? My least favorite: Rhedogian the first time on Hard mode. Why? He can kill in two to four hits just because your health is so much lower. This forces the player to sense move spam like they're having a seizure due to the enclosed arena. And the last reason I dislike this mini-boss? Though trivial, you can't officially kill it until later, forcing more pain and suffering (or fun if you like these battles) three more times in small rooms! In any event, tell of your least favorite mini-bosses and why in this topic. Have fun.
Opinions are opinions, not facts. Though, everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course. Even Metroids and Ridley, the unkillable beast. Viva Les Alpha et Omega Metroids. Kraid should be brought back, he needs some good 'ol Metroid love.

That's the nasty little bugger with whip arms that can fly around and basically flays you every which way? Yeah. I hate that guy, too. Like.. hard. Though one of the battles he wasn't quite so bad because the room was much bigger and it was easier to play keep away, but that first couple times were bunk.

On a side note, I also sometimes despise the horshoe crab-like Asborean, what with it's tendency to cause unexpected quicktime events on the first playthrough for just about every battle and its annoying Asborean Spawn. On Hard Mode. To add to that, I hate how, for some reason, every time I miss the lethal strike chance, its worm form wraps around me and explodes. ALWAYS.

My least favorite mini-boss has to be the giant eyeball that floats around and looks very mean!

Rhedogian definitely, especially the first time I played the game. The third time you fight it was annoying because you have to use missiles and I hate using missiles. LuigiandMetroidfan20 wrote:every time I miss the lethal strike chance, its worm form wraps around me and explodes. ALWAYS.
I always miss lethal strikes, through out the game I think I only got three to work.
My Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is corrupted... Wat?

el polo, no contest. hes the only hard thing about hard mode, he was literally an endurance match at that point, couldnt miss once, which is impossible considering how hard it is to lock onto that bugger. wait, hes a miniboss right?

Which is perfectly fine. The game doesn't exactly tell you how to defeat
Melissa Bergman/MB
or
the Queen Metroid.
I personally don't consider that a boss/mini-boss, after all,
the battle with MB is just another pixl hunt.
Though, I do respect your opinion.

Well, "el polo"
(a.k.a. adolescant Ridley)
can be considered either. It doesn't last nearly as long as the normal bosses in the game, but it has a health bar like the normal bosses. I once saw a guide for the game that has him listed as a mini-boss. Some wikis call him a boss, though. Take your pick, the choice of him being a boss or mini-boss is yours. Personally, I found
adult Ridley
much more difficult on Hard mode. But, that's just my opinion, of course.
Adult Ridley
is still my favorite normal boss, though.

I agree. Especially when you battle the first one, which is right when you're in the middle of the "hell run" when you don't have the Varia suit. I almost always die multiple times at this part. I haven't even attempted hard mode yet, because I fear I may throw my controller into the wall at some point in the game.
