The Photo on Adam's desk revealed!

Y'all know on the debut trailer, there's that scene with Adam writing something and there's a picture frame right by his desk.



It has been shown of who's in the photo!

...and Samus sounds really good! So it's a good thing the game has been delayed to August 31st!

Please for the love of Old Bird do not tell me Samus' rebellious phase involved a "bad boy" boyfriend. I don't know if my fragile heart could take it. But then it would need to asked why Adam would keep that of all pictures.

Also, I cannot help but wonder who took the picture, and where it was taken to get Adam in the shot.

Yes, why would Adam keep a random picture of Samus and some guy with only a glimpse of him in the background? If they were close, wouldn't they have taken pictures together? Maybe it's supposed to symbolize their drifting apart from each other. Arrggg, I'm thinking way too much into this.

Some notes:

- Adam says wireless interference is all pervasive in the Bottle Ship which means we won't be bothered by the other troops while we're off exploring on our own. Good for the isolation aspect. However, communication is still done through the Navigation/Saving Booths which sounds similar to the way it worked in Fusion.

- "Find any survivors and bring to them safety". We already know there's at least one lone survivor and she's awfully suspicious.

- I really like Samus' voice.

Yeah, the guy next to Samus is definitely someone next. Maybe he's one of the GF troopers on the Bottle Ship, but outside of that I'm outta ideas.

Or one of the dudes in Samus's old unit. Maybe if we hadn't come in halfway through the conversation, we'd have heard who it was.

Wild guess here: Maybe this is actually a hint of Did The Research, and Adam and Samus wouldn't openly fraternize (since he's an officer and she's enlisted, and that is frowned on). So he keeps a photo of a couple of his subordinates, one that conveniently has him and Samus in the same shot.

Absolutely insane guess: It's Adam's son/brother/cousin/clone.

Actual observation: Samus is not a touchy person, is she?

Yes, but, if it was Adam's son or brother don't you think Adam would've look happier in the picture?
Maybe the incident involved him, maybe Samus' actions got him killed.

Hmmm...now i am really curious of who that guy is in the picture (it could probably be Adam's cousin or younger brother but it can't be his son cuz we're not sure if Adam's married) really is, and why Adam is only in the background.
Well, we'll just have to wait then.

Maybe there wasn't some horrible, mass death incident that Samus was somehow responsible for. Maybe the guy in the pic convinced her to leave the military and Adam simply disapproved.
