What the name "Other M" stood for *SPOILERS NATURALLY*

So Sakamoto said that Other M's title would be significant in many ways, and I thought we should try to list them all!

So far I have

Other Metroids
Other Madeline
Other Mother Brain
Other Memories (Flashbacks)

I think a big part of it was so that people could see the game as
Other M - M Other - Mother
Metroid : Other M - MOM

The entire game is essentially about parental relationships

I would say just the acronym, "MOM" is pretty damn significant. There are shittons of parental/motherly attributes and symbolism throughout the whole game.

I wouldn't be surprised if it meant Other Mission. Given the history of generic sequel names such as Return of Samus and Super Metroid, Other Mission would fit right in.
