Alright guys, on the Sector Zero scene, Adam's death HAD ME FIGHTING BACK SOME MAJOR TEARS!!!!!!!! SUCH A SAD SCENE (if you're really know how Samus feels on that part)!!! And even the scene where Samus went to the Command Deck, noticed Adam's helmet, remembers his death and what really brought him to Sector Zero, and clutches his helmet tightly... ...I STARTED BAWLING MY EYES OUT TOO!!! Especially when that piano melody started playing...such a beautiful song to match the mood. *sniff* *sniff* First video game that makes me cry... So here's the question:: How do you guys react when you saw Adam's death scene and/or the Command Deck scene where Samus embraces his helmet??
I'll protect you by all means, even if it cost me another trip to Heaven...

I was saddened by his death.
I was more saddened that I didn't get to go into Sector Zero.

Adam's death scene: I thought, "so long sucker, see you next game! That's what you deserve for not letting me explore Sector Zero." Then I cried a solemn tear or two about the destruction of Sector Zero without having chance to explore it.
The helmet scene: I thought, "why didn't you pick this up earlier on your way out with Anthony?"

To be perfectly honest, I was still wrapping my head around the freeze gun disabling the suit. Once I got past that, I was dissapointed that Samus made the same mistake twice, for both Ian and Adam, and there was even a little flashback to illustrate that she hadn't matured at all, what with the image of her younger self overlaying the older. Though after Sector Zero was jettisoned and Samus calmed down, I approved of pretty much everything else.

It got me teary-eyed, but not really crying. The ending sorta got me a bit too, but the self-destruct starting up so abruptly actually got me laughing. She found the helmet, the quiet 'reminiscing' music is playing, and then that happens?
Me: WTF? *cue me laughing my ass off even as I'm having Samus run for her life*

I found it more epic than sad, especially because of the amazing visual quality, and Adam's last line.

Wow, am I the only one who was unable to feel anything because they couldn't stop cringing over atrocious dialog and the utter stupidity of the whole scene? I seriously thought that this moment was the absolute worst part of the entire game.

I never specified why I had trouble watching it all the way through, did I?

It was a terrible scene, I cringed at how cliche it was. the only parts I liked about it was the flash back to Sr388 and Samus saying "leave it to me" I was like "BYE BYE FUCKER! I AUTHORIZE YOU TO DIE"
Samus - She's the only woman I'll ever love.
