There are such things in most games and movies. That was what I was meant to say. |

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?Since this is getting really redundant...
Samus has this suit, right? It protects her. The suit is like a living thing, the suit and her are one. "Losing concentration" and "focus" isn't referring to getting hit by lava or anything like that. It's referring to emotional trauma causing her link with the suit to be very weak. That's how the story is written, so your Ing reference is irrelevant. The Ing can strike her, she's used to it. She's been trained to deal with that. She hasn't been trained to deal with the rush of maternal instincts that she clearly wasn't ready for. She hasn't been trained to deal with needing to kill an infant Metroid that reminds her of the Baby, which she was emotionally attached to. It was too reminiscent and thus she lost her focus. The blast was able to breach. I'm not saying I like it either. But that's how its been conveyed. I honestly preferred it as a mechanical suit that enhanced all of her abilities. But I guess thats just too plausible. "I am tired of being under the weight of greedy men who don't believe in anything."

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?Let's be honest here, that suit has never been portrayed as plausible. It had some weird mystical shtick going on in every game, even the Prime series.
I'm not a fan of the willpower suit either, but it's less about it not making any sense and more about them showing it off in the worst way possible. It was actually pretty cool in the Manga. |

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?Do you lot have a problem with Prime 1's opening? She manages to lose her abilities by been thrown against a wall, is this some magical wall or what? Must be because she doesn't lose her abilities every time she shinesparks against regular walls.

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?
Some of the electrical energy went into the gaps under her knee armor, disabling her systems. "I am tired of being under the weight of greedy men who don't believe in anything."

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?
Don't be silly. The reset button is on the back of the suit, not the front. |

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?Adam shot the reset button.

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?Don't be silly guys... Samus Aran has absolutely no Reset Buttons on her back, Or anywhere else for that matter. ...Only a Self-Destruct one. |

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?I think it was a plot twist by team ninja to make the game more exciting not like the game featuring the following creature:

Re: The Nullify Power Suit Gun (how do you explain that one?Again, Team Ninja had 0% involvement with the game's story.
Even the strongest of people can have their faith broken. Mine has.
