I think as a whole we should try to avoid posts like the last several in this topic- while I'm sure Ino and co. don't mean any harm, these constant "I agree!" or "That made me lol!" "Me too!" posts are just a drag to read and I think make a topic lose its focus.

In other words, think before you post, and don't post the first thing that comes to your prepubescent head.
This for some members might be really hard (see all of Ino's recent posts and notice how empty they are of actual content) but with fortitude and courage I know we can pull through.

While Cen's pictures are indeed very nice (good job on them), I have to wonder what the role of the thread is, considering how the OP is just a summation of the Other M plot in a particularly dry fashion.

I can sit here and pine for Wunterwafffen to finish his much-more-amazing Prime 3: Corruption novelization (hell maybe he did but I don't feel like looking for that weirdo on the internet to find it), but that won't do me any good.

Like the OP is just "hey this is what I think the story is, am i right? PS Did you like the game ooh that Ridley Hard mode ANGRYFACE"

I agree. Speaking of which, did u read any of my Other M novel Emperor? The next chapter is still in progress. (I'm at the first Nightmare fight. My explanation for his presence (though it won't be stated until I do Fusion) is that the one in BSL was the real Nightmare and the one on the Bottle Ship was just a prototype. On a side note, I had at one point seriously considered cutting out the Phantoon fight on the grounds that it was a bit ridiculous. (Albeit an awesome cameo.) But that was before the concept art was translated and I found out that he exists in multiple dimensions, which explains how he could live in the vacuum of space, although there is still the question of how he got so ginormous etc. (I wonder if the other dimension he exists in is the Infinity Void from Hunters? (The one Gorea was locked up in.)

Undependingly of all that, thanks for the compliment, and I agree with what Royboy X said, this topic got lost a lil bit... should be renamed by now...

See, back when I was younger I thought that way too, Cen, but then I grew up and realized that all this "letting the topic wander" is just an excuse for worthless posts that add nothing to the forum.

While in small doses this is ok, lately I've noticed that a slew of newer members have been consistently acting this way, probably because they're all like 14, ha, and are more or less inexperienced at using the internet. Look at many of the recent posts here by newer members- they're all like that, and they're really a drag to read once more another page full of Ino's circle-jerk posts or a bunch of LOL I AGREE LOL THAT'S RIGHT I AGREE WITH YOUR AGREEMENT
In short, a bunch of lame bullshit that's not fun to read and adds nothing to any sort of discussion (even small talk banter!).


If my posts melt your brain, give it time, as it might be a good purgative effect, spurring you to cut down on worthless posting or if failing that, take Guile's advice and become a family man.

And that right there is why we have PMs. If you want to go drastically off-topic, take it to PM. If you want to have a one-on-one conversation with a fellow forumite without others getting involved, take it to PM. If you "need a little time to talk nothing before going back on topic," take it to PM; or just talk to someone in real life. But that kind of childishness really only generates pages and pages of off-topic drivel that is annoying to everybody. Also, you shouldn't need any chattiness to get back on-topic, because you shouldn't have been off-topic in the first place.
