Missed one thing. Evolve (to molt and be alpha and gamma and whatnot would be my metroid creature skill) to be able to do other things, such as a lightning sweep, and shoot fireballs. (that, came from metroid 2)

Yeah but you'd have to make it through alpha first. Worst part of that is, your 1 nucleus makes you 4x more stupid.

How so? Metroids have limited intelligence anyway, and if the nuclei even are brains, amount of brain matter is not necessarily an indicator of intelligence.

Let's not forget the loss of ice immunity. Man, I am kinda astonished that nintendo decided to give metroids a detrimental evolution first, but I see that their power gets higher fast after alpha. Nice point there, and I figured to throw that support in there, But then again, being unable to be frozen might be a benefit after all, as 5 missiles are harder to land on moving targets than a frozen one.
