Mmm, Pie.

I got one. I was listning to music on the way back home from longhorn caverns, and i let my mind race. Keep in mind i was still mostly concious, so it isnt a true dream, but i digress. It had me in the varia suit, im in skytown, and im scanning something, and i learn that the space pirates have broken the fourth wall between Zone of Enders and Metroid Prime 3 and have mass-produced Jehutys, like the End of Evangalion, and were planning on using them in an invasion. All of them had all the upgrades, and had unlimited ammo, and each had the zero shift. I nearly threw myself off of skytown.

So, I had one last night. I was watching a game of Metroid play out; might have been a demo. The graphics were like high-resolution sprites, somewhere between Other M and the traditional sidescrollers, but not 3D rendered. Completely unknown territory, however. It took place on a planet, or an asteroid. Samus started on the surface and she fell down a large hole. She explored and did some stuff in this small area, then was transported back to the surface where the hole was gone; must have been a cave in. I got the impression that this area was a one shot deal and totally missable, if not optional. Next she went through a cavern and morphed so as to go through a tunnel. When she did that, the image zoomed in on her and she stopped at a bend. That's where the voice chimed in. It pointed out that she could blow a hole here and fall down - a rather long, twisting drop - to the starting point. At which point the image zoomed out to show a cross section filled with a maze of morphball tunnels.

Looked like a really cool game, though very complex. <3

I had posted this as part of a three dream post in the wierd dreams thread, (i think you can get to the post by following thunderchin's link and its on page 23), but since this part is metroid related, i decided to post it here; but i digress. Here we go: I'm not sure if this was a dream or not, but i was walking to the bathroom one night for some water, i finish drinking, and i leave the light on to go get a popsicle, I look out into the hall, and i see a black figure, about the size of a cat (keep in mind we had no pets then), shaped like a warrior ing, just standing there. It turns and just looks at me. Even though it had no eyes, i felt as if it was staring not AT me, but THROUGH me, as if it was looking inside me, if that makes sense. This goes on for about a minute or two, I keep having the thought to go over there and see what it really was, but I was too scared, so I turn off the light, run back to my room, im shitting a megaton of bricks at this point (for all those people who are gonna ask me "age?" i was about nine or ten, and i had just gotten MP 2 and played through it, but only enough to where i knew what they did to people(i stopped for the day around the start to middle of dark agon) but not enough to actually get confident enough to kick their collective asses), I ran into my bed, and hid under the covers, and just waited. In hindsight, it probably wasn't as bad as i thought it to be, and if it happens again (which it hasn't, sadly) i could probably go over there and see what the hell it really is.

I had a weird one last night (fist post, hooray!). Basically, it started where I was watching Invader Zim, and instead of the theme song, it just says Stargirl 1600 with big white letters and a black background. It then cut to a bunch of cars floating around randomly. The animation was normal Invader Zim style, ecxept for the people who looked realistic, but still in 2D animation. Samus was narrating inside of a convertible (she was saying something about the moon) while saxaphone music played (old detective movie style). The camera then panned to Samus. She was wearing her Zero Suit under a trench coat. Out of nowhere, it shows a car explode, and good old Ridley's the cause of it. After all the smoke cleared, you see Zim and some weird monkey sitting with a forced smile. Samus comes over and checks the commotion, and complains that they swithed places. She takes off her trench coat, Ridley flies away, and she kills a bunch of thugs. One walks up and says,
"I'd like to go out with you," and then kisses her and says, "Too bad I have to molt into a woman." Then, he walks away and molts into a woman. It then shows Samus back in her convertible and trenchcoat with the saxaphone music in the background. Then she says,
"I need a date, I wish that wasn't a woman." After that, it shows that weird title card again.

The first thing I thought when I woke up, was that this would make an awesome show.

Probably the wierdest place to put a 1st post, but whatever...

5 years ago I had this random yet detailed dream about Samus, which was wierd considering I haven't played a Metroid game maybe 1 year prior to this. So here it is:

I went to sleep one night, and pretty fast because I was working all day. Then I woke up at 5AM to a loud boom in my back yard, almost sounded like a grenade went off. I jump out of bed and rush to the back door to see what the hell it was, and I find this big metal capsule in my back yard. I am sitting there thinking "If that is a hostile alien in a frop pod in my yard, I better get my sword..." So I grab my sword and I walk outside, I sit there for a couple of minutes trying to think what I should do with it, and it opens up with a bunch of steam and some electricity sparks. When the door came open, out fell this humanoid female wearing this tattered blue jump suit and had blond hair. I sit there for a sec wondering if she was gonna get up, she was still on the ground. So I lean over and went to check her pulse on her neck, it was normal. I checked for any signs of internal injuries, none. So I picked her up and brought her into the guest room.

Surprisingly no nosey neighbors showed up or any dick-weed cops. I threw a large car cover over that pod thing she landed in and ran back in the house. I came into the room where I put her and checked on her, my eyes were watering from this strong sulfer smell that was coming off of that blue tattered jump sut she was wearing. It was going to stink up the whole room and eventualy the house. So I got some scissors and cut the suit off her, I doubt any tailor could save this thing so I got it off and threw it in a garbage bag and put it outside. Of course after I get the clothes off of her, I get a good look at her body, she was very well built, very muscular, but not in a scarey way. Then I noticed she had a black ink tatoo on her right arm that looked like this: :s-logo:

When I saw that I immidiately knew who it was, now your probably wondering why the blue jump suit and blond hair wasn't a dead give away? At the time, I never played Metroid: Zero Mission, only seen a couple pics of it with her in that suit. Apparently it was enough to spawn this random dream in my head. Anyways after I figured out who it was I got a towel and and cleaned all the burn spots off her body and put some burn cream on the burns. As I was doing this, I was expecting her to jump out of the bed and kill me after rubbing that cream on the burn spots. She was out cold, probably comatose, So I tucked her in the covers and pulled up a chair next to her and watched over her till I fell asleep.

It felt like I was alseep for maybe 10 min and then I woke up in the chair and looked over to find she had disappeared. I got up and looked all around the house, she was nowhere to be found. I looked into the back yard, there was a crater in my yard, but no pod and the car cover was left on the pavement. I went back into the guest room and I saw a note on the desk that I didn't see before. I opened it and out fell this necklace, the same necklace I have been wearing to this day. On the note it reads "Thank you for your help, I will never forget you -Samus Aran" After I read it I woke up for real to the sound of my alarm clock.

That dream was so realistic It felt like it really happened. This was probably the 2nd most realistic dream I have had in my life. Anyways I thought I would share.

Neat. I wish I had dreams like that. Most of the time, if Samus is in my dreams it is because I am her.

And welcome to the forums, Enker-Zan! I hope to see ya around the board, and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.
