Well, I very much like the rest of you guys. I'm a full time college student, and when not in class i work to pay my bills and rent.
I DO have my limits on what i can buy and not and know when to draw the line. Yes, i have been fortunate (thanks to a little support from my parents) not to have any college loans to worry about, which is a massive plus compared a few of my friends.

With that said, I bought the figures when it was first announce knowing well in advance that I had a little more than a year to save up and pay for it.

@VGMM my figures are all random numbers, Gravity is the low 40s since i bought with F4F and cost me the full $100+shipping. I got Varia Suit Samus for only $80 + shipping so that one is in the 1000+
Phazon is in the high 100s since i could not pre-order one when she was first announce i had to wait a bit and make sure i had the funds to allocate for the figure and F4F was nice enough to give me one the first low numbers they had since i told them i bought gravity with them. I had a coupon that i got from another forum to use on phazon to save on the shipping cost
Either way the number is not something that i would care deeply about. and I think my Canadian Friend told me that he is expecting theirs to come sometime next week.
For reference Gravity and Varia had MSPR of $99.99 and Phazon had MSRP of $249.99

@ the MDb community, I would be more than willing to take pics of them when i get a chance, my life is crazy as well with work and classes. I'll try to take multi angle and comparison shots.

Me personally, I prefer the Gravity suit out of all the F4F statues so far. Phazon is the most disappointing one for me.
I felt that it was too much of a clone pose of the other two and while there are LED lights it really does not justify the $250 price tag. But then again i bought this statue last yr when my funds were higher.

I do want to make the comment that they Phazon suit statue is VERY DULL and plain when it is not lite up and when you have all three of them side by side not in a lite room the lack of colors really make this statue look very dull and boring.
However, turn on the LED lights and she will really out shine the other two.

FYI it runs on 3 AAA batteries which my statue actually came with. There is an on/off switch on the base of the statue as well.
batteries are very easy to replace since they are housed on the bottom side of the mirror base cover by a lid (pics when i have time).

@ sharonlover the last Gravity suit that was on an auction site sold for around $600 so you'll get you money back when you sell. I wish I could have afford two Gravity suits, but then again i should be fortunate with what i have now.

And its fine with ppl commenting about my economic status, in no way shape of form am i as high as you all think i am, but this type of thing is expected when you go online and post pics of $100+ statues, I have no issue with that and respect others for their opinions.

I mostly broke all the time too, though I spend money on Metroid stuff when I know it's going to sell back. $600 bucks? Really....holy crap. Anyhow, I opted out of the Phazon suit simply because it was the same pose as the other two. I let them get away with the gravity suit because it was a limited number and made sense (the japanese are always doing the same pose in different colors for their 'rare' ones so I made it work in my mind :P)

I wouldn't mind getting the Gun Ship either, but I'm not willing to pay $300 bucks for it; that's just a little to expensive for my blood. Maybe if I get back from my Japan trip with some extra cash, I'll drop the money for one, but not at this point in time.

I agree, for me the Gravity suit is the best. I even loved that suit in the games.
I love the colors, I love the fact you can move fast through the water, I love the blue lights underneath. I just really like that suit. *rants*

We all understand your busy, so I personally would feel bad if you'll going out of your way to show us photos of what's going on.
However if you'd like to do so, your more then welcome to. I think some of us wish that we were in NY and were able to be blocks away from the Nintendo World Store.
It's a great honor or gift from you that we are able to view for ourselves what's going on there.

Good luck with your college courses and Metroid Figure collection, I wish you well.

I'm in a college course while I type this --I understand you. lol. ((Were on break right now, so it's 'ok' to post for now.))

The Varia Suit's Orange seems a little too dark.

The Gravity Suit's Purple I think is the perfect shade.

The Phazon Suit seems way to dark, you can't distinquish a lot of the features.

Yeah, Gravity Suit is the best one of those.

But, you know. With so many Samus poses around...

Anything from "Carson's Collectibles" on Amazon is counterfeit. All they did was rip a Prime 3 image off the web, pop it on a website and are trying to make money off of Metroid's popularity. I don't know how these assholes stay in business... their shit is CLEARLY counterfeit.
