I decided to make one of these type of threads because it's fun and I like to read the responses.
If you haven't seen these before, it's when you finish the lines to this sentence and explain your answer.

I did this before on another site and it went really far. This thread is similar to the Daily Life With Meroid Prime Logic thread,
However... with this you explain your fan-dom life to the world of the Metroid series.

This thread isn't just limited to one game, but the whole series in general.
It can be anything Metroid related, such as the merchandise (shirts, hats, pins, posters), music, tattoos...

--Anything you can think of...!

It also doesn't have to be real, you can make stuff up as we go along.

I'll give you an example:
'You know you're obsessed with Metroid when...?'
You wear your Metroid Prime 3 shirt everywhere you go.
(This is a lie, but you see what I mean?)

Here is another example:
'You know you're obsessed with Metroid when...?'
You tell the taxi cab driver to pay you in credits.
(Another lie. No, you don't have to state that it's a lie. It's better not to.)

........Get the idea...?

On topic:

You know you are obsessed with Metroid when:

you have a different Metroid shirt for each day of the week. (no seriously )
you always say Metroid instead of the word you meant to say, such as Metro (How bout we take the Metroid today?)
the tombstone you have bought reads, "See you next mission"
your license plate reads "Metroid3"
you plan on naming your child after Samus ( xxxx Aran Sharpe) Though my wife won't let me name her (assuming when I have a kid it's a her) Samus I'm still trying to talk her into letting me name her Lana after my character in the Metroid universe. That would be the awesomeness

Back on topic:

...When your cellphone ringtone plays 'Kraids Hideout' from the original Metroid. (That is so me!)
... When your walking and hear a soft humming noise and instinctively try to look around for a missile expansion.
...When you start to think random household items are Metroid enemies.

Sorry for the freak-out back there, it's just that I'm the kind of person that wants everything to be as neat, completed and efficient as possible. Plus, with all the tests/exams I had to do lately... It ain't good for your head, man... (and yet, there I go and say *ain't*)
