Well you certainly don't need to rant about it, but there are plenty of modern games that all take from gameplay mechanics brought about in M1. Dead Space 1 & 2, the Batman: Arkham games, and even Darksiders are obvious examples of this.

Yep, i'm guilty of it myself, to be honest. But you probably don't have at least one or more Miis in your Mii Channel that are named "Samus" because i do.

and that is a clear and obvious sign that you are obsessed with metroid.
