These are my top 5 fave enemies. I hated rezbits with a passion. I dreaded having to face them because they messed with your visor.

I second this. I have NEVER gotten so angry at a boss fight in a game before. I used to die on that boss so many times, and I hated trekking from the save point to the boss fight, it was so tedious.

Oh god yeah, that thing was just the most annoying boss ever. I had to retry so many times to kill that thing.

Any form of space pirate is cool, and then the Quadraxis and Thardus are definitely two of my favorite bosses, and then pretty much all those cool enemies in Sanctuary Fortress were pretty cool.

Sanctuary Fortress was my favorite place in that whole game. And those things that made your suit shut down were crazy! The Thardus is also in my top five of Metroid bosses.

FACT: if a rezbit shuts down your suit while you're in morphball, you lose the ability to lay bombs. doing this in the room you get the screw attack in before you get the screw attack requires you to reset the console to continue (Trilogy version)

BTW, I thought Yakuza was, like, the easiest boss in the game Ridley-X notwithstanding.

Hmm, I'll have to try that. As far as I knew, that only happened when you died before your suit had finished rebooting.

Yakuza was kinda hard because of the final spinny form, but Nightmare was IMO the hardest boss in the entire Metroid series. (In a good way.)

I too am a fan of Rezbits. They weren't that tough as long as you were ace enough to hit them with a charge shot before they shot off their virus. The virus was a pretty cool thing, though.

Also, I may be the only person that dug the Spider Guardian. At least once I knew how it worked, the notion of a boss that's more about strategy and puzzle-solving than shooting a lot was really appealing to me.

Holtzes are pretty cool, too.

One enemy I can't stand, though, is Grenchlers. Stupid, OP Sheegoth ripoffs.

Speaking of, take a look at this enemy from the Warioland series. Look familiar?

Holy crap, it does look like a Moto! I haven't played Wario Land in ages, I'm gonna have to play it again!
Also, as for another favorite enemy, I'd have to say Space Pirates in General. Everything needs cannon fodder! Whether it be Ensigns off Star Trek (Red Shirts), Storm Troopers, or Space Pirates!
