Whats your favorite metroid enemy?

...anyway, if you stand against one of the hatches in the samus geemer room, the geemer goes absolutley nuts.

Yeah, I've messed with the poor thing on numerous occasions.

What I thought was hilarious was in the original Metroid, where if you shot a platform out from under a Geemer it would start spinning like crazy until the block reformed. :awesome:

That would be the Covern for me in SM during the unpowered shipwreck part. They're totally freak and I would have liked to see one of those in the prime series.

I always thought it weird in such a sci-fi oriented story like Metroid, they occasionally throw in these metaphysical conundrums like ghosts and what-not.

I think Ridley from all games, is my favorite, and the Prime versions of the Metroids, I thought they were done pretty good, I also think that rouge super geemer (the following one), in Super was cool and think there should have been more...

's (WoW! How original!) are my favorite, as they stand out as some of the most unique and often despised critters in Sci-Fi. Phantoon on the other hand is one of the freakiest fucking things I've yet seen in a videogame.
