What is your favorite suit?

[Dark Samus Aran]

I mean. i love all her suits but the top 3 for me are... Dark Samus's suit from Prime 2 Echoes. The Shoulder Pads made the difference. From Pime 3 (it looked ugly)
Second is All 3 Fusion Suits. Power. Varia. And Gravity.
Third is... well the Light Suit. Love it.

Sorry if I'm resurrecting an older thread here, but it is stickied, so I figured it would be ok

My favorite suit is the Varia, in particular the one from Echoes/Corruption. It is just so classic, it is her iconic look and what makes her instantly recognizable. I love the way the colors all work very nicely together, even the green of her arm cannon and visors.

However, the Dark suit is also one of my favorites for several reasons. For one I just think it looks cool. But also because it is the first time that we get to see what happens when Samus uses another suit technology with her Chozo suit. We are always told about how modular the suit is and here we get to see how other suit technology changes the appearance of her basic look. (I know technically Fusion was out before Echoes, but that was really more of an accidental change than conscience decision on Samus's part.) because of this I also enjoy the other radically different suits in the games.


As a runner up I really dig the Zero Mission Power suit. It looks very classic(when looking at the manga) while still looking modern.

I must say, I like the gravity suit. I just find the mixture of colours quite pleasant and good to look at. In the 2D games anyway. For the 3D games, I'm gonna go with what seems to be a popular opinion and choose the phazon suit. It just looks interesting and looks like it'd fair well in Samus' situation (which it does).

Meh, I always found something odd about the two-piece, and its pratical use is even worse than the Zero-suit...

And I know I posted before that the Phazon suit was my favorite suit (I think anyway), but I think I'm leaning more towards the Light Suit, even with its stupid knees swords. That suit is such a great design.

The Varia suit has always been my favourite suit, but I also like the base Power suit. I just love how basic it looks.

my favorite suit design is the one for dark samus in prime 2 (i mean technicaly it is samus's phazon suit metroid prime just stole it to turn into a copy of her)
