I've noticed the shoulder pads. Lord, they're irritating. That is one upside to the Fusion Suit, I suppose.

And the pads on the Dark Suit are seriously like............... :-?

I am a fan of the gravity suit as well. Original one..not that pansy Prime one.
I rather do not like any of the Primes redesign of the original suits she wears.
all that green glowing orb stuff and lights and what not doesnt do anything for me. x_x

Yeah, regarding the Prime design, it's a good thing the game was first-person. Not sure I'd enjoy it as much having to stare at those hulking shoulders the whole time.

In the SM design, the shoulders are about the same size as her helmet. Well, maybe a little bigger. But in prime they're about twice as big. o_O

Based on the pics I've seen, it seems the Varia's shoulderpads will be shrunken in M:OM.

You know, try imagining a video game where the light suit is the character's main costume. In some ways it's kind of a mediocre suit expansion, but a really awesome design in its own right.

I agree. I would like to see a spin-off that used Light Suit as the main suit in the same way the Fusion Suit was used with it's own suit upgrades.

Metroid Prime 2 certainly had the most unique suit designs.
