What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?

My favorite boss in the Metroid series is Nightmare in Metroid Fusion. That whole fight just had my heart pumping.

Most intense fights are the Dark Samus fights for me. It's like facing yoursel-oh wait..........
No, but I really like the final fight with her on Phaze. It has this: prepare to die bith feel (on both sides actually).
In speaking of MP3, Helios is useless. Easiest boss in the series. LIKE, EVER.

Definetely Kraid forme. I even named my profile after him.

Honorable mention goes to Nightmare for being badass and hard for both of the games he's in.

Golden mochtroid award goes to fake Kraid from M and SM for being small, easy to kill, and for being an imposter!

Well after Other M I definitely gotta add that big lava boss thing with the long arms, and of course the final boss!

I, too, liked the lava Flaahgra boss and his wiggly arms of doom.

He had spaghetti arms!

God, this is difficult. The general consensus among people I've talked to -even those that don't even like the series- is that Metroid has some of the greatest bosses of all time. And really, this is absolutely true. It's just impossible to pick a favorite.

... But I will. CROCOMIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRREEEEEE! Only because his saga is tragic and profound.

My favorite still remains as the Quadraxis, but I gotta agree that Crocomire was badass too. xP

And yeah, I love Quadraxis too. The only thing keeping him from topping the list is the fact that his head pops off too soon. He goes from HUMONGOUS MECHA to tiny gunship. And again, Crocomire isn't a clear-cut favorite. The series is just filled with amazing bosses.

Yeah, it's hard to pick just one.

Crocomire gets boiled in lava, has his skin melted off, then somehow teleports to the other side of the room and breaks down a wall and jumps at you as a skeleton in a last-ditch attempt to kill you.

Quadraxis's head floats around, but that's strictly small-time compared to Croc.

I agree, though--there are lots of other bosses I really like. Quadraxis is one of them.

I'm not sure if they count as much, but those big ass tree monster things in Other M are fun to face too!
