my favorite boss is Emperor Ing becouse its a 3 part epic and challenging but not imposible while using all your metroid prime trilogy skills.

Any form of space pirate is cool, and then the Quadraxis and Thardus are definitely two of my favorite bosses, and then pretty much all those cool enemies in Sanctuary Fortress were pretty cool.

Sanctuary Fortress was my favorite place in that whole game. And those things that made your suit shut down were crazy! The Thardus is also in my top five of Metroid bosses.

3x Chozo Ghosts, no X-Ray, no Super Missile. Fuck yeah.

Or Zetas, Omegas, or The Queen. All fun AND tough.

OH GOD REZBITS those things could mess your shit up big time. They were pretty easy to kill, but they brought the thunder. Totally forgiveable, though, since they fit in seamlessly with the gorgeous Sanctuary Fortress.

I'm going to have to say I really like the huge random turtle in Maridia with it's young (can't remember its name), the Dark Commando Pirates from Echoes, and Ridley himself. It's a difficult question, since all Metroid enemies are imaginative and unique, especially in the Prime games (barring similarities between creatures like the Baby Sheegoth and Grenchler).

Rezbits are freaking awesome!
I love the whole system crash they can do on your suit, it just looked so cool!

My favorite boss is the Mogenar in prime 3, it looks so awesome.

Just about everything in the Sanctuary Fortess, especially Rezbits and the miniature Quadraxis things.

Also, Oums because they're such an obscure enemy. I believe there are only two in Super Metroid, both in a room that's hidden behind a bombable wall that leads to a missile refill and nothing else. I also like the way they roll around and lick at you.


In terms of bosses, Quadraxis is my favorite for sure.

Oh, and those things that fly up and the float gently down. I don't know why; I've always just liked them.

As far as the small or minor enemies go...

I like the Metroids! ;D
Phazon Metroids are cool, I hate the Metroid Hatcher though-- EVIL!!

I also like the 'lava sea horses' the Flying Space Pirates and the (hardly harmless) Geemers!

But if we are talking Bosses...

I like Ridley (any version from any game), Dark Samus, SA-X and Nightmare.

Yeah but Nausicaa for all it's gorgeous artwork does NOT have the MUTHAFUGGIN MERPIRATES so Metroid is clearly superious.

I know they're technically called Rezbits, but I always called them Missingno. I hated me them Missingno.


In terms of Exceptional Awesome, I would say Ridley. He's not always the most complex of bosses, but he's in nearly every game (occassionally twice), and he is the admitted arch-nemesis of Samus. In my mind, he is the best example of Metroid villany. Besides, that falling down the shaft fight in Prime 3 was more fun than it should have been. And he owns a grocery store by my house!
