Moving past that I think perhaps a reason why her zero suit is so revealing is that she didn't grow up around humans and perhaps didn't psychologically develop a sense of shame. If this is the case, I wouldn't call her a slut; just someone who isn't a ashamed of her body and probably doesn't feel embarrassed by observers.
Interesting. Never thought of that. I'm sure the Chozo taught her to use her body as a weapon, so she probably considers it less revealing and more just being who she is, a human. Still, I don't like them putting it up all over the place. I can't wait to see what Nintendo does now that the series is in their hands and not Retro's. Do they hold the same ideas or will they go back to keeping her mostly suited up? Will they develop her character more now that they have the hardware capability for a really deep story as well as advanced gameplay? Although, knowing Nintendo, they probably won't on the last part.

What are you talking about? 2 of Nintendo’s last 3 internal Metroid games were MUCH more revealing of Samus’s figure than any of Retro’s!

Ahhh you're right. It was Nintendo that put her in the leotard, right? Well hopefully Nintendo's family-friendly new image will bleed over into this area and clothe her up.

Yeah, seriously. Retro's version of Samus was the realistic and restrained Samus at the end of the first Prime. The change in the second and third games was because they adopted Nintendo's version from MZM.

Nah, I figure she's a little above 6 feet, but she's not Master Chief-sized. She suit might add a few inches due to boots and helmet, maybe three or four inches, but I've never thought of Samus as huge. She could feasibly be around 6'6" (in the suit), maybe up to 6'8" (still in suit). I dunno. That's just me.
Of course, she could be even smaller, as her Super Metroid dimensions might depict. Prime dimensions make her seem pretty large (and fairly disproportionate).

The Metroid 2 manual states that Samus is 1.9 metres tall and weighs 90 kilograms while wearing her suit.

Hrm 90 Kilos... isn't that like 198 pounds? Either way at 1.9 meters and 90 kilos; she isn't far from my dimensions. Interesting...
