And I firmly believe you are confused. I cited Bulletstorm as an example of Epic Games' ability to make cool environments and lamented the fact that we missed out on exploring its cool world. Not as an example of a bad game. Or even a game that required more exploration. It was a game that was everything it needed to be. The only problem is that the developers teased us with their talent for making really cool environments but put it to use in a linear game that didn't really need it. Hence why I wouldn't mind seeing them put that talent to use in a Metroid game.
Besides, in a game where one character threatens to murder another character's dick, I take exception to the claim that anything about it can be oversimplified.
