Half of it was the mythology and the rest of it was defending himself. Overall it was a lot about building up Tony Stark as a character, which is probably why I enjoyed it.
If they did Metroid and her suit was all CG, she would be in it probably 50-75% or more of the movie. Any less wouldn't be worth it. So if you're doing all that CG anyway, might as well make the whole damn thing CG...
