Didn't people complain that that DS was two bulky to be held one handed without cramps?

I'm pretty sure the cramps came from the unconfortable position in which you held the smaller DS lite or DSi. At least that's what I'm getting from my new 3DS (though I'm getting used to it now).

As someone who has owned both a Phat and a Lite, I personally preferred playing Hunters on the Lite.

What?

There is no version of Metroid Prime Hunters in which Samus' gunship resembles her ship from Super Metroid more than it does her ship from Metroid Prime. Look at it again. It's the same design as Metroid Prime.

Its like my NSMB case, it looks pirated.

My copy of Metroid: Zero Mission looks like it was pirated. It didn't replace Samus' gunship with a ship from a different game. Did you somehow get an early copy of the game or a beta or something? If so, that would be an awesome find. But I'm sure that if you try the game again you'll find you were simply mistaken.

You can check if your cartridge is pirated by looking at the chip - the part that's sticking out of the plastic. If it doesn't have 'Nintendo' stamped on it, then it's fake (easy to tell with GBA carts). DS carts have the serial number listed on the front stamped in black ink in the center on the back. They'll also have a second serial number printed on the chip itself (not sure what that is though). My guess is it's misremembering though.

Thanks, I'm going to check my copy of Zero Mission. I'm almost sure it is pirated; when I looked at the 'swag' section of Zero Mission's Metroid Database profile, it had a picture of my cartridge captioned 'Pirated Cartridge'. This might be a little off topic, but the pirated Zero Mission I somehow received from Amazon had, in place of a manual, a poorly printed booklet describing each Metroid game with a pictures and screenshots (usually from the wrong game) on each page. The interesting thing is, the descriptions were taken from the Metroid Database! The Metroid Prime description even said 'The Metroid Prime section of the Metroid Database is still under construction.' xD

I spent so much time on the multiplayer until i was somewhat good. Then the hackers came, thousands of hackers. They swarmed game lobbys with their x-ray and aimbot mods. We didn't stand a chance.

I killed my L-button playing this game, if i totally smash it down it will work for a little while.
i like it somewhat but i stopped playing midway through, partly because my cartrige dissappeared... -_-;
my name is pronounced (Kor-roo-na A-k-re-ka) waiting for a new metroid game that takes place post-Fusion! Still have not played super metroid, or beaten 1 or 2! XP

Hey, the same thing happened to me! I heard that lifting the L-button and blowing into it will remove dust and help it to work more properly. On my DS lite, it wouldn't lift. Still, it seems to be working much better now.

fire samus wrote:there was not a single metroid in the game

So? I would much rather explore new parts of the Metroid universe than have metroids shoved into the plot as a gimmick. A lot of fans were disappointed with the way the Tallon metroids turned out in the Metroid Prime series because they weren't the doomsday bioweapons metroids were fabled to be in the original series. If anything, you should complain that the story wasn't related at all to the Phazon conflict when it easily could have been. The Metroid Prime series isn't about the metroids, it's about the Metroid Prime. Thus the title.
the beams did not chang shapes like they did on prime EX: wave beam was fat, all the beams did was when you changed them was those little lines on top changed colors.

So? It's a tiny detail. The DS has very limited capacity when compared to a console, so they limited the animations to save space. It's not like anyone would like the game any more if they had painstakingly crafted an animation for each weapon on each Hunter's gun arm.
the beam ammo was like metroid prime two

Yes, and that problem is not specific to Metroid Prime Hunters. I don't think it's much of a problem at all in either, though some complain that Hunters' ammo was much less forgiving than Prime 2's.
any one who has an action replay out there is really lucky. :/

Most of them use it for multiplayer. They're not lucky, they're morons who play merely to troll other people.
they did not make it were samus's suit changes she's stuck with the same old suit always.

That is a very valid concern. Honestly, it was my biggest problem with the game. All of her upgrades are weapons. It's good from a storytelling perspective because it doesn't necessitate Samus to lose all of her previous upgrades, but it does limit the puzzle and level design aspect of the game.
and the crappy idea of haveing the three or four shots for the power beam does not work well.

I'm not quite sure what you mean.
the charge of the power beam looks like the plasma beam from metroid prime.they don't have ridley and the double jumb\space jump either one.

The charge of the power beam doesn't really seem to look like the plasma beam to me. I don't know where you're getting that from. Ridley wasn't in Metroid II or Metroid Prime 2 either. Like in those two games, he just wouldn't fit. A horrible, crappy version of Ridley's fight could have hurt the game even more. They gave you Weavel, the Space Pirate version of bounty hunter with a background similar to Ridley
with how bad metroid prime hunters is i don't thinks it's worth to be a sequel or prequel of any metroid game if it is. >:(

It is bad, but like so many others you've listed maybe one to three good reasons and filled the rest of your post with nonsense.

Yeah, I really don't understand why people don't like Hunters. I loved it because it expanded the Metroid Universe so much. Sure, the title is misleading because it doesn't have Metroid Prime, or Phazon for that matter. Seriously, though, there is now a viable option for when Nintendo finally decides that Metroids don't have to be in every single game. The game also proved that Samus is a bounty hunter, because she had to kill the other hunters to get the ultimate weapon, the Omega Cannon. Previously, Nintendo had proved to us time and time again it had a very loose definition of bounty hunter; this time, it may just have gotten it right. And the most likely reason we don't see Samus with all of her familiar weapons (wave beam, high jump, screw attack) is because she is in a completely different galaxy with different technology. The chozo didn't just happen to seed their weapons on every planet, and we can't expect that. The single-player adventure also captured the isolation of every previous Metroid game and the sense of exploration. On top of all of this, the multiplayer experience was superb.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Well, most of the Hunters in Metroid Prime Hunters weren't actually bounty hunters. Samus was being paid to collect the 'ultimate weapon' (which may or may not be a 'bounty) but she was also paid to kill Mother Brain in the original and the Metroids in Metroid II, which is much more like a 'bounty hunter' in my opinion.

Agreed. Though some sweet Alimbic-based suit upgrades and new powers wouldn't have hurt.

This.

I'd like to see a metroid prime hunter 2, but on the wii or something. I don't like handheld gaming.
