I agree. A lot of the characters had fascinating back stories with a ton of potential.
Sylux, who hates the Federation for unknown reasons and yet uses their stolen prototypes.
Kanden, a bioweapon gone wrong.
Weavel, a cyborg Pirate with a grudge against Samus.
Trace, from a race that seeks out and colonizes new planets by force, like a swarm of hungry locust.
The other two never really interested me all that much, to be honest.

If Jesse D broke his hands while playing Hunters, as funny as I find that to believe in itself, it had nothing to due with the control scheme in Hunters. Negative bias is the only thing that implication has to ride on. Speaking about the control scheme generally, 2-6 sensitivity is probably the best range for this game. If you're right-handed, stylus mode all the way. Don't use Dual Hand mode unless for experimentation, if you like it great if not go back to Stylus. I did have hand numbness with this game very early on, and some advice, hold the DS or 3DS with two hands not one. I cannot fathom why gamers went from holding their system from two hands to one, and then wonder why that lone hand supporting the system is in pain. Where did common sense go? As for lefties, I'll get back to you as I'll do some experimentation myself. I do still believe Stylus would be the best option regardless of which hand is dominant, with the same circumstances to playing the game as above. The biggest issue is two hands not being used to some extent to support the system. Fortunately for future stylus games, the stand is now present to cater to such an inane decision.

Maybe you'll have to fill me in, but I'm not really seeing the trolling in your statement

I've not really liked mph it wasn't really a metroid I think, I mean exactly what Infinity'end said at the first page.
The part i've liked was the puzzle (even if it's not really dificult to resolve) at the battle againts Gorea.
Question to plasma: Can I take your gif at your signature?

What do you mean find the Imperialist? It's required to finish the game...

Because the word is so overused that nobody actually knows what it means anymore.

That was kind of my point. I've noticed a lot of the noobs using it frequently and without reason. It's like they all heard a funny joke and they're telling it to anyone who will listen but they forget the punchline.

How is it not a Metroid game? Beam Ammo is present in Metroid Prime 2, it's considered a Metroid game. Backtracking is in every Metroid game, so there you go. I don't know why Metroid Prime Hunters' sense of adventure is judged by its backtracking, when backtracking is not what is used to judge any of the others. The sense of adventure is had in further opening up the game's environments through the acquisition of upgrades and learning more of the plot and backstory in the process. While Hunters has few main upgrades compared to other Metroids, it is well paced and its story is very interesting. I mean it's the first time a Metroid game is not depending on Chozo and Metroids to carry itself, nor a horde of Space Pirates. In comparison, that's original to the rest and the shortened lore entries leave plenty to invest one's imagination into. @R7038 Yes, I found all of the Imperialist locations. In the single player, I enjoyed the mini-boss required to beat to reveal it. During the first visit, Trace and Noxus battle it out. Defeat Noxus to move forward, allowing Trace to escape to be encountered later. In the second visit segment, defeat the Arctic Spawn and get the Imperialist. Both mini-boss enemies that had cold-based attacks ended up leading into something dealing with Trace on Arcterra. It is exactly like the order in the Alimbic Prophecy, "Violet Crystal shall shatter the heavens, leaving in its wake a Red Stain."

As for the misuse of the troll thing: It's official now, we've dawned on the age of the hipster trolls. People who claim to be trolls, and use the word, but don't have a clue as to what it really means to be a troll. The Hipster Troll.
And topically, I liked Hunters, save for the infernal hand cramps resulting from marathon sessions.
Sorry, I will use it next time

I still don't get the Imperialist thing you're talking about.

Right, but you responded. I still don't understand because the Imperialist is something you have to find to continue the game, every time I've ever played I was attacked by Trace as I tried to escape, etc.
