I found out a trick for Dzrk Samus on hypermode. If u screw attack her she will lose a decent sise chunk of her health. you can also use hyper
ball when dark samus does the twin plasma attack. You can also rapid fire to kill Dark Samus faster. But how do lower your phazon meter in the Aurora Unit Head fight?

Shoot the Dark Samus clones that the AU spits out. They drop a lot of health.

Or just dodge. Use Hyper Missiles and Hyper Charge to help you destroy it quicker.

Hes talking about the 2nd stage, the head. not the brain-on-a-stick stage.

but yeah, if you mean act 2 scene 1, then just shhot everything that comes at you and constantly charge your beam to draw in health.

What I did was get alot of anti phazon units from part 1, and beat part 2 as fast as possible, making sure to make dodging a priority. As far as I know you don't get anti phazon units on the floating head part.

Ah, AU stage 2. Yeah, no health drops for that part. Just kill it before it can kill you.

The floating head is extremely easy. when it shows that thingy under it, shoot it, and it will get paralyzed. Quickly get behind it and fire at will. Oh, and when you destroy the leviathan infant, get all the anti-Phazon units you can. You should be with zero Phazon to start against Dark Samus then. Beat up Dark Samus as fast as you can, destroying clones to get more anti-Phazon. Again against the brain-on-a-stick. Finally, never stop shooting the head. even if it's spinning, you have a chance of hitting its back.

Thats basically the trick, I couldn't beat him in is floaty stage for the life of me until I figured that out.

On hypermode I had about half an inch of uncorrupted health left when I beat the AU. A couple tips:
It's a common misconception that charging the beat is a waste. This is totally untrue, it does insane damage charged, and this is especially true since there are only small windows of damage opportunity, so plenty of charge time.
Hyper missiles are worthless. They waste time, don't do enough damage, and are boring to use.
Dark Samus's worst enemy is that most of it's attacks are easy to avoid. The problem is that you feel rushed
The Dark Echoes drop health, but they're only around during DS and AU part 1. You can't refill your health during AU part 2.
You did, of course, get all energy tanks, right? Following those simple rules should keep you alive.

AU 313 part two? easy (as long as you dodge the lasers). Because of how high it flies, samus can easily get underneath and unload. Still, the beam is your friend. Best rate of fire and fastest traveling speed.

Sorry about double post, but with Dark Samus, when you shoot a hyper missile at her, she will either 1)stop whatever she's doing to block the missile, or 2)keep floating around and get hit by it. also, if you are close and fast enough, you can hit dark samus with a hyper missile after she drops her shield. just keep hitting the missile fire button after DS raises the shield.
