Kraid in Metroid Prime?

There was a photo with Kraid in it. At the bottom it said METROID PRIME. Why do you think he was taken out of the game :-?

Most of us here have seen that. Retro said they were considering putting kraid in, but didnt have time, because they wanted to keep the game at full polish and release on time
