Steambots! You had to kill 'em every time in that circular room in Skytown. I don't remember any in Echoes, though...

There is an answer for Echoes, I thought Echoes would be the easiest one to answer for this question. Steambots is not right for MP3, though. You could walk right out of some rooms when you fought them. I'm talking about ones you couldn't leave the room until you've killed them, EVERY time you see them. Steambots can be avoided in most rooms, actually...try again. 7 is right for the Chozo Ghost question, by my count...

They randomly appear in certain rooms, and you have to defeat them for the doors to unlock.

I think they are the Reptilicus Hunter in corruption (the ones that become invisible).
I cant think of any other.

Nope, not true. You can bypass them a lot after you fight them initially...

You only encounter the hunter versions twice, and they are not skippable

I'm tempted to say Berserker Lords, but I'm not entirely sure if the one you fight on Bryyo is a Knight.

Actually, I've just checked. You fight two Lords (GFS Olympus, Elysia) and one Knight (Pirate Homeworld). So that's wrong.

Metroid Hatchers, maybe? I know you can skip the one on GFS Valhalla, but that's through a glitch more than anything.

But minibosses and bosses don't count, I think. Would it be the Pirate Commandos again? I think it might be Hopping Metroids, actually, since they tend to have that phazon wall thing. I'll need to make sure...

I was looking for Warp Hounds for MP3, good guess, Squeenguin. I guess the Reptilicus Hunters count too...

They're already ordered correctly, sort of. There are nine Sky Temple Keys and nine Dark Temple Keys, so they're interchangeable.
