Well, unless somebody has developed a hack through wiibrew, Corruption's logbook has a pretty bad zoom limit, leading to the maximum cap-size being pretty low, which means low detail. Having a nice, high-res frontal of Rundas in G-Mod will look better than any cap of him in Corruption (except for MAYBE the elevator on Norion).

Some of those parasite pics, jesus, how'd you get that swarm without having it attack you?

And it's probably not your ISO, it's either the wrong plug-ins, hardware that isn't totally compatible, or a combination. I get these bizzare Gumby-style models in REmake, it looks hilarious.

And to outlaw, I think he means 50-70% of what the games intended framerate is (I'm not sure what fps prime runs at, since Retro said that they were trying for sixty in corruption).

Well, if I were to use Gary's mod for anything, I'd have to create my own "studio" for taking shots of the models. I don't really want HL2 textures showing up in these pics, y'know? I'd have to build something in Hammer and import the models in. Sounds a little like too much work to me. -_-;

I know the zoom limit in MP3 is rather shitty, but for what I need it for, it might be fine. I already got all the MP2 characters this way.

If I could just get the actual model files themselves, and import them into 3DS Max and take a nice clean render of them with the T-pose, that would be ideal. Most of the enemies wouldn't be in the T-pose so I think I'd be alright.

Well then, perhaps you should post on the front page that the MDB needs somebody who can rip the models. I don't believe there's any harm in that, right?

I didn't get a response, so I made my account on imageshack. Observe these pics:

I won't keep any secrets, you will notice pixelation in these shots. I have the original images and they're MUCH larger than these (3000x4000 12.1mp). Not bad for a camera in front of a TV though, right?

This was INCREDIBLY hard. My HD television has a frame-freeze feature on the remote that freezes CGI or live HD precisely to the frame. I moved my camera into the position where the arm cannon and energy meter are barely out of the shot and slanted my camera's view to the perfect point where pixelation is at minimum. This is the best you can get for a TV screen shot.

Wow, that's actually pretty good.

Isn't it sad that the Sheegoth is a prime example of bad effects? The textures for it's breath only spawn where its head is, they don't track it, leading it to move it's head through a still-spawning effect that's supposed to come from its mouth...

I don't know how to manipulate or control that lol :D. Thanks

The mommy sheegoth's drool seems low quality too, she was charging at me when I froze the frames to take a picture so this shot took me some time to get her to POSE for me.

I disagree that the Sheegoth is a 1-timer. After beating Thardus, these guys (girls?) are all over the Phendrana Drifts. The sentry drones are also not 1-timers. Metroid Prime to me isn't a 1-timer since it's at the end of the game and you can return anytime you want to (to basically repeat the ending).

BTW, thanks Chozo-Child. It's entirely hard work but the results speak for themselves.

@R9WiLdShOt: The "King" sheegoth (what you fight to get the Wave Beam) is the only one that isn't that great. The rest are good though, but yeah, like i figured, you can see the pixels on the TV screen. And that I don't like. It's pretty apparent. And what I'd be using these for requires them to be clearer. I'm not saying that the shots are bad, they're just not what I am wanting.

If this is the best you can do, I would say just don't bother, man. But thanks for your time and effort. Really appreciate it.

I'm still looking to just get models of the characters so I would just make renders of them in Max. I may post up something on the front page eventually.

heh . . . . at least I tried. I'm just glad I'm offering something. Let me know IF you ever reconsider (I really think you won't). Like I said earlier, I'm more of your "last resort" and I can be easily beat. I won't delete the (just now I stopped) other 23 screen shots I took just incase. I tilted the camera to cancel out as much of the pixelation as possible so I can't make this any better.

For in game screenshots there doesn't need to be any HUD.

What IE is looking for is tricky, you need no HUD on the screen, the screen needs to be clear. The arm cannon should not cover the specimen. It needs to be close enough to distinguish what it is, etc.
