Can anyone offer any good strategies for the Spider Guardian? The first part is easy but then the second half is ridiculous. Most of the time when I drop down and drop bombs they don't touch the SG despite that it looks like it rolls right over them. Of course after a fajillion tries I finally get it to turn green and then I can't seem to make it to the bomb slot in time. I guess I just get nervous and fumble the controller buttons. Guess I'll try again after a good night's sleep.

Timing helps. Make sure you boost before the guardian and lay a bomb around a 2 foot radios in front of it. Then, boost into it to get past and avoid damage. The later stages are the same.
