I'm recording and sharing sound effects from the Prime games

Yesterday I randomly got the idea of a Metroid Prime based iPhone UI sound theme so I started to look around for the sound effects from the prime games. What I noticed was that most of the sound effects are pretty hard to come by online (if not completely non existent), so I decided to get them myself.

I am not extracting the files from the game disc, (which what I know haven't been that successful this far) I'm rather simply recording them and then editing out any background noise if present.
I'm not that far in yet but if any one wants what I record for any purpose, I will share. I will update this post with the packages as I complete them.

Also, if anyone would like to help by either record themselves or provide save files for dolphin with all the gear already collected that would be great.

That sounds awesome. I'd love some sound effects for my phone.

Every text would get an alert saying "Recording to Log Book".

The theme currently uses the "Recording to logbook" each time you take a picture or end a voice or video recording and the "Data received" when you get a text message.
Changing this stuff is pretty easy though and I will probably include a note on how to when it's done. However, this topic is more focused on the effects themselves then my iPhone theme since I have seen that they are pretty sought after and hard to find. ^^

Maybe you can try the theme out when it's starting to come together and give an opinion on used sound effects and check for potential problems?

I made a recording of the thermal visor a while ago. You can use it if you need it.

Thanks, might come in handy. I have recorded and edited over 110 sound effects so far.

Done with the HUD sounds. The menu sounds are in a separate category that I am still working on. If there are any problems or sounds missing, do tell.

Could you possibly upload the MP2 "Recording to Log Book" in a louder mp3?

I'm getting to MP2 later, but the suit voice sound effects are all in the first prime too. At least in the European version (Maybe they added a few in Prime 2, I don't remember). So I do have that sound from the first Prime. However, it's not super clean. It does have the beeps from the scanning sound effect and some of the humming the visor does left in the background.

I am planning on filtering that crap out or getting a better sample but if you want it it's attached to this post.

Hi, could you get the "data received" sound but with the "brurrrp" (or whatever it sounds ) that comes right before it included in the same ringtone?

To make it more clear, it is the sound that plays when the map update message pops up and then the voice plays.

Please add the other beam sounds.
