once you get the super missile upgrade, go into FPV, then lock onto what you need to shoot. instead of pressing the button to shoot a missile, hold the button until the charge meter is all the way up

To get Super Missiles, get assraped by Certain Familiar Boss in cutscene. Then you can try to pummel him with Super Missiles.
