Ridley Hard Mode

I'm having trouble with Ridley on hard mode. Whenever he glows he's invincible, even my super missiles bounce off of him..

Plas, what is it with you and the inability to hit the bad guys? You had trouble with your charge shots phasing through the electric dancers, and now this? Tsk, tsk...

Anyway, I don't know what to tell you. I think I had one instance of a Super Missile bouncing off of him, but it wasn't a constant problem. Try to aim for him the second he gains the black aura or the times when he seems to hesitate. Best advice I can give. Sorry.

The lock-on mechanism tends to slip awful easily, especially with fast-moving enemies like Ridley. I found myself firing off regular charge shots in place of Super Missiles at times because of it.

Ice beam this! I beat him! I asked on gamefaqs too. They gave me the tip of using 1 to precharge the missile, it really helped.

I think my copy of the game hates me haha.
